It was morning by the time they were almost to Hilltop, still out running the dead and alive. Kit zoned out for most of the conversations regarding the mask itself. Mainly because she didn't even know how to process it, and they were calling for her. And what did he mean by come home? she didn't know him. "You alright?" Daryl asked Kit as he walked beside her, fingers holding tight on his crossbow strap.

"No, Daryl, I'm Not alright; nothing about this is alright." She snapped before taking a deep breath and apologizing for the attitude.

"Did you recognize him?"

"No," Kit sighed. "And the whole reaper thing, only the saviors ever called me that. Maybe I missed some rogue ones" Daryl nodded, chewing on his lip, beginning to really worry about his wife's safety. Dog started going crazy again, alerting to more walkers in the trees.

"We got some tails," Magna said From her spot on Kit's horse with Yumiko. Daryl held an arm out, stopping Kit.

"The Living kind or the original recipe?" Eugene asked

"Let's find out." Daryl nodded to kit and then Jesus.

Daryl went ahead, waiting for them at the end of the bridge shooting at random ones to find the very much so alive ones. Kit and Jesus stood at the other end of the tunnel, blocking them in. Kit cocked her head to the side as a male 'walker' turned to face them, pulling a knife out of its sleeve and charging forward. Kit sidestepped his attack while Jesus Impaled him from behind. They turned back to the rest of the group as Daryl ripped a mask off of a teenage girl.

"Please don't kill me," she pleaded, her whole body shaking.

Daryl tossed Merle the mask. "How many more," He asked

"Please, you killed them all. It's just me now," she pleaded.

Kit put her blade up to the girl's throat, the girl's eyes becoming visibly wider. "Why do I find that so hard to believe." she hissed.

"There ain't no time. We'll take her with us." Daryl said, eyeing the herd coming up the road.

Kit retracted her blade as Daryl moved forward, yanking the girl to her feet.

~Time skip~

Kit and Tara followed behind Daryl and Jesus as they led the girl down to the hilltop cells; Merle had stayed back to explain everything to the boys before they could get too close.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me." Kit Sighed, seeing henry in the first cell.

"Get inside," Daryl growled, shoving the girl into a cell on the opposite side of the stairs.

"Hey," Henry smiled awkwardly, hoping it would wipe the disappointed look off kit's face.

"What did you do?" She asked, crossing her arms; Daryl moved to stand next to her to look at the kid.

"Drunk and disorderly" He sheepishly grinned; Daryl snorted, walking back to the teenage girl's cell.

"Jesus, little hen," Kit muttered, shaking her head and walking away, knowing his older brother and Jody would have already dealt with it.

Daryl kept his eyes on the girl as she just kept saying over and over that her family was dead as Tara and Jesus Questioned her; he did notice a slight shift in her demeanor; however, when kit walked into the cell with her, arms still crossed.

"Start with your name then," Jesus said

"I told you I don't have one. None of us did. That's not how it worked." the girl pleaded, looking at Jesus.
