Darkness. It was the first thing she noticed after waking up. She was in the closed space, she was certain of that. She was sitting on the cold floor that seemed to be wooden. She touched it to make sure. Yes, definitely wooden. But where was she? She was yet to find out.

She couldn't possibly tell what that place was, especially in the dark. After seeing Levi getting shot she quickly became unconscious and her hand involuntarily went to the place where she thought someone injected her. She hissed, her arm was hurt. So it really happened. All of it was real...

For the brief moment she really hoped that she only imagined that. At least the part where these mystery people wounded Levi. She could survive it all, except this. He took that pill, that damned pill that she didn't want him to and that was the effect - he was laying on the floor, barely moving. Oh, her heart ached just thinking about that moment and a single tear fell down her face, followed by a countless amount of others that dampened her face. She was sobbing and she hid her face in between her legs. It didn't matter that she couldn't see anything. She was ashamed. Ashamed that she couldn't protect her beloved man. She couldn't understand why. She was in some kind of a trance. She watched him fight for them and she couldn't even move. She couldn't force any muscle in her body to help him and kick these people's asses.

She cried even more, the ache she was experiencing got to the point where it was unbearable and she was desperate to soothe her pain. God, she needed a drink. Or something calming. Something that she could swallow. Something that would heal the guilt, the shame, the pain. Sadly, there was nothing in here. She crawled on the floor, trying to find if there was anything, but no. This place was empty. Deep down inside she thought that alcohol or drugs wouldn't help in that. They wouldn't help to obscure the void inside of her that was created the moment she was separated with Levi.

Levi.

Levi. Levi. Levi. He was all that she could think about. Even though this place was dark, she kept on replying to the images of him, recalling memories that were so dear to her. His little smiles, his frowns, every single time he pursed his lips. Every time he kissed her own. Every time she heard him hardly breathe after a make out session. Everytime he said he loved her.

Pain. So much pain.

Where was he? Where was she? Were they far away from each other? Or was she held only a street away from him? Was it a bigger distance? A city? A country? An...island? Was he even... No. That was out of a question. He was alive. He had to be. Otherwise why would she be alive? She was convinced that if he was...if he wasn't there anymore she wouldn't be either. She couldn't live in the world that lacked him. Her life would be pointless without him. It felt pointless even now, when they were separated.

Suddenly she felt sick. She didn't remember when was the last time that she ate, but she throwed up on that wooden floor and coughed tiredly. Her cough turned into another series of sobs that she didn't care to stop.

"Pathetic," she heard suddenly and froze in place. She didn't recognize this voice, but it definitely belonged to a woman. It was pretty low and cold, nothing like the voice of people she knew. "Your eyes should soon get used to the dark," she said casually and Sophie moved closer to her, following the sound of her voice. Who was that woman? Why did she kidnap her? "Just get your shit together, woman. You're a mess," she huffed, clearly irritated.

"What do you expect me to be? You kidnapper," Sophie finally spoke up. She didn't know where her sudden courage came from. Maybe it was because she didn't care at this point? She didn't care about getting harmed or pissing off her kidnapper. All she cared about was Levi and the fact that this woman was responsible for keeping her apart from him made her want to destroy her. Kill her in the most creative ways.
