JENNIE'S POV:

'Is he one of Mr. Marco's nephew? But he said that he is an only son...'

Mr. Marco was also surprised, but then his surprise turned into mirth as he patted the man's shoulder, "Ah, Torong! It's been a while indeed. How are your parents?"

"They are in good health, Uncle!"

"I see. I shall invite your dad for golf later. But, why are you here in the Jeon Group office? A new business deal?" Mr. Marco asked.

"Oh no, I'm just... uh... meeting with Mr. Jeon. He is my friend," Taehyung replied, he smiled wide, though somehow I felt that he was actually lying through his teeth.

I noticed that Rosé rolled her eyes as if she just heard something absolutely ridiculous, probably a blatant lie as well.

'Ehh... why does this man need to lie to Mr. Marco about something so casual? Is he a dangerous man who has a shady deal with.'

"Oh, you are friend with Mr. Jeon? Well, he's is around your age as well, right?" Mr. Marco said. The man named Taehyung nodded and then held the door for Mr. Marco.

"Uncle, you have a meeting with Ko-I mean, with Mr. Jungkook, right? He is waiting for you!" Taehyung said. Mr. Marco nodded and entered the room for a private meeting with Mr. Jeon, leaving us three, Rosé, Taehyung, and me, awkwardly staring at each other.

This man named Taehyung scratched his head and asked Rosé, "Ah, Secretary Kim, you didn't tell Uncle Marco about my business with Kookie, right?"

Rosé sighed and shook her head, "How could I, Mr. Taehyung. You're the first one to say that I should keep it a secret."

"Hehe, good. I just don't want Kokkie to get in trouble. He has been working too hard, I don't want to ruin all his hard work..." Taehyung said.

Rosé nodded lazily, "Yeah, sure, fine..."

Taehyung then glanced at me and then resumed his formal posture again. He stared at me for a few seconds before asking, "Hold on, have we met before? I feel like I've seen you before, or maybe in a profile picture."

"Profile picture?" I tried remembering whether I've uploaded my picture somewhere. But I remembered that I've only posted it in my private social media account with only me, Rosé, Ella, and Doyeon as mutual friends.

Oh, I've also posted my picture as a profile picture in Rent A Girlfriend, too, I guess.
But how could a seemingly important man like Mr. Taehyung here know about my profile in Rent A Girlfriend?

"I don't remember meeting you before, Mister... uh..."

Mr. Taehyung stretched his hand for a handshake, which I accepted. "My name is Taehyung, the CEO of V Group."

'WHOA! So this is Taehyung Young Master! I've heard about him few times from Mr. Marco, but I've never seen him. Who knows the Young Master who took over the company is actually very young and handsome! And that certain box smile reminds me of a real life idol in BTS and Rosé's phone gallery once.'

"Ah, it is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Taehyung. My name is Jennie Kim, I am Mr. Marco's secretary,"

"And she is my sister," Rosé interrupted me. I looked at her with my eyes widened. I just realized that Rosie was very bold when talking with Mr. Taehyung. She didn't even care about his status as the CEO of V Group! That group was the top three leading group in 2021, alongside Jeon Group and Manoban Group.
