JENNIE POV:

"Heh, that's what you said. You go find a woman who will tolerate your antics, laziness, and your disloyal heart!"

I looked away in contempt while Lisa looked speechless with my words. I knew she wasn't having it right now, maybe because I accidentally turned this sweet surprise into a sour argument.

But I just couldn't let myself drown even deeper into this feeling. As kind as Lisa could be, she was still the same wishy-washy woman who couldn't decide which one she wanted to love. So she became greedy and loved both.

Lisa wanted to say something, then she zipped her mouth after I gave her a death stare. I saw that she still had some cream on her lips after eating so much cake, so I pulled more tissue to wipe it.

Then I took out a bottle of mineral water for her, "Go drink this. You must be very thirsty."

"U-unnie, does this mean that you're—"

"No, I'm not in the mood talking with you right now, Lili."

"Ugh..." Lisa leaned on her chair, and the whole surprise cooled down. Honestly, I felt guilty because Lisa must've prepared everything since yesterday. I just ruined everything because of my mood.

"I will just move to another seat," I said. I got up, but when I was about to leave, Lisa grabbed my wrist, with her begging eyes, she said, "Unnie, don't leave. I really don't know what to say to you."

"I don't know if I will ever see my childhood sweetheart, and yes, I love her. But that doesn't invalidate my love for you too!"

"You're saying that you love two women?! Lili, what you said is just full of bullshit!" I yelled at her. "You're just playing with my heart at this point. Stop with your lovey-dovey behavior as if you're really into me. Obviously, you're just using me as your place to fill your loneliness."

"If that childhood sweetheart of yours finally returned, I guarantee that you will go with her instead, right?"

"But," Lisa paused as if she didn't even know how to defend herself from my accusation.

"Tell me if what I said is wrong, Lili!"

Lisa lowered her head, unable to answer my question, which already cleared everything.

After a while, Lisa finally braced herself and replied, "Unnie... I truly love you and my childhood sweetheart equally. Sometimes I wished that you two are the same person because my love for you two is undivided. I can't leave one for another."

"Lili, you're just spouting some bullcrap. You're unbelievable," I gritted my teeth. I pulled my hand and moved away from hee. I didn't want to stay close to her, at least for now. I didn't want to be eaten by her sweetness.

It was just a fake sweetness that would never give me anything in return but a heartbreak. I was just too old to be in a heartbreak right now.

"Man, I'm twenty seven years old already. I can't afford a heartbreak.

LISA POV:

Lisa watched Jennie's back, who moved to the next carriage, leaving her alone here.
She was left speechless, too speechless because Jennie confronted her out of the blue and stopped her from trying to give a sweet answer that would delay the real question.
