LISA POV:"Actually, I do have a gift for you, Unnie...."
Lisa took out something from hee pocket, a medium-sized red box. "Um...I give you this..."
Jennie stared at the necklace inside the red box. It was a simple but expensive-looking white gold necklace with a heart-shaped crystal clear diamond as the pendant.
It sparkled beautifully, Jennie wouldn't lie that she was charmed by the shine.
Lisa sighed in relief when she saw that Jennie's eyes were glimmering after seeing this beautiful pendant. It wasn't a cheap pendant, for sure. In fact, she didn't even want to disclose the actual price because this might be one of the most expensive pieces of jewelry she bought.
It wasn't as expensive as seeing Jennie looked so happy when Lisa showed the diamond.
"Ah, diamonds are indeed girl's best friend.' Lisa thought.
Now the next step was... how the hell she could find a replacement for this diamond if Jennie accepted it. Because this was supposed to be given in front of Jennie's family to give them such a good impression that Lisa was a romantic and attentive girlfriend for their daughter.
"Ah, I will just call someone and deliver new jewelry for that event tomorrow. Use a helicopter or something. There's no use of worrying right now, as long as Jennie was happy.'
Meanwhile, Jennie's eyes were glued at the diamond. She knew it was an expensive diamond that she would never buy, nor could she afford it even if she worked for her entire life.
She often said that she wanted a rich sugar mommy to shower her with money as a joke, but when faced with a real one.. somehow, she felt reluctant.
Because she wasn't someone who relied on others to live. Even though she struggled, she could work for herself and provide for her family.
She didn't want to be that woman who dated Lisa because of money. Though, she wouldn't mind if it was gifted when they were married already.
"Ah, you shiny little thing. Momma loves you so much, but I shouldn't accept you, at least not now. Because your master and I aren't married yet... if it is even possible in the first place. But worry not you shiny little one. Momma Kim will find a way to purchase you if your master married someone else instead!'
"Would my lifetime leash suffice to purchase you?' Jennie gulped and then closed the box. She handed it back to Lisa and shook her head, "Lili, I can't accept that."
Lisa and the train attendants were shocked by the rejection. These women who became train attendants silently wanted to choke Jennie for wasting something so precious like that.
Young Mistress Manoban was obviously extremely enamored with her, but she decided to just push her away.
Silently, they prayed that Jennie got a heart attack for absolutely no reason, so they could replace Jennie there.
But Lisa said nothing and stared at Jennie, "Unnie... is it not enough? Even though I'm poor, I guarantee you this one is not a fake diamond I get from Taobao. This is a real legit diamond."
'Well, no shit! That's so obvious already! If you trade that diamond with TaoBao's fake diamond, you will get a mountain of it already!' Jennie grumbled.
