LISA POV:

Lisa was stunned silly when Jennie suddenly hung up the call after saying, 'I love you' so lightly.

Meanwhile, Lisa felt like her body suddenly exploded out of shock and happiness. She tried to call Jennie, but she got no answer. Supposedly, Jennie intentionally hung up the call to tease her even more.

"Damn it! Jennie surely knows how to tease me!" Lisa complained. She wanted to be more aggressive, more dominant.

She imagined dominating Jennie, but knowing how fierce Jennie was, it wasn't impossible for her to suddenly get mad at Jennie for being dominating.

After knowing the identity of Batman J, Lisa had some worry in her mind. She knew that Jennie was loved by many men and women. So she can't let her guard down.

"Lalisa, are you ready?" Her mom, Madam Evelynn, asked. They were inside a new building that her mom had purchased a few weeks ago.

"Yes ... " Lisa nodded. Truth to be told, Lisa hated every second of this stuff happening around her.

After that night, Lisa argued against her mother. Of course, they were fighting for an apparent reason.

At the end of that fight, after they met with Jennie, Madam Manoban dropped the bomb by saying, "You're just blinded by her. I demand you to come with me to New York. I will show you a bunch of AUTHENTIC, beautiful ladies that will fit your taste.

Had I know that you can be this problem in the end, I would just match you with Diana as soon as possible and get you two married. So you will understand that my word is correct! I just want to give the best for you!"

"You don't even know me personally. How do you know about my personality and love?! Mom, you're not the one who should talk about giving the best!" Lisa fought back.

"Hmph, come with me to New York tomorrow, and you'll understand how wrong you're," Madam Manoban said. "I'm pretty sure that you will change your mind soon."

Lisa sighed. She had to follow what her mother wanted. Because Jennie still insisted that their marriage needed to get a blessing from her parents.
