JENNIE POV:

"You must be able to force Lisa to work in here after you two got married."

"What?! Dad, I don't need to inherit this office!" Lisa protested. "I don't even need the money from this office. I'm literally the one who bought this building for you!"

"Shush, you green girl, you don't even know how important it is to inherit this company! This company is the one who raises you until you're financially independent!"

"I've been financially independent since I hit twenty years old!" Lisa continued to protest. "There is no way that I will work here and continue your boring job!"

Mr. Marco suddenly looked at me and then said, "See this, Secretary Kim? This will be your job to drag this lazy bum to work! She has been doing nothing but playing golf for years!"

"I play golf because I can solve all my business with just phone calls!" Lisa insisted.

"You don't know the work ethic. How are you going to teach your kids to be disciplined if you're not even discipline!"

Why did they drag me into their problem? This was obviously a problem between Mr. Marco and Lisa. I was just a third party here.

I sighed. I had to admit that working with Lisa would be both blessing and a curse. Since Lisa wasn't like Mr. Marco, who was so diligent and punctual.

Lisa seemed to be the kind of person who did things at her own pace. However, she was still thriving even in her completely different place, probably because Lisa was gifted with great minds.

I remembered that she was the one who finished my homework from school because she was just that smart. And she didn't even need any reward other than a pat on the head or a small peck on the cheek.

Okay, I was pretty dumb in school. I wasn't smart like my sisters, but at least I helped my family the most. Hopefully, my child would pick Lisa's brain instead.

"So how is it, Secretary Kim?"

"How is it, Nini?"

"... Huh?" I blinked. I was sort of dazed, listening to their never ending arguments over and over. I wonder if they would even listen to my opinion.

Though I'd love to work with my future wife, I wondered if we fought over company stuff as well, that would be messy.

After hearing no answer from me, Mr. Marco sighed, "Fine, how about this? You will work as the new CEO in this office, and I will take Secretary Kim back. So you two will be CEO and Secretary inside this office together."

"I know what's in your head, Lalisa," Mr. Marco's peering gaze shot directly to Lisa.

Lisa, who was rolling her eyes many times, crossing her arms, and always refused whatever her dad said, got excited so suddenly. She stared at me with such a hopeful gaze.

"Does that mean ... I will be able to work with you even after we get married, Nini? And you will be the one who makes me morning coffee and eat lunch with me?"

"Then we will go to the supermarket to buy groceries for our family. Of course, I will always help you to cook! Even though we will have a lot of maids, but I still want to eat your coking every single day, Nini! And I will also eat tofu every night!"
