JENNIE POV:

I prepared myself in the morning since Alex said that she would pick me up at 9. I shared my location with her and then waited in my apartment lobby.

I waited until a white Bugatti parked in front of the lobby. Alex Priest opened the car door and then walked to me, "Jen, let's go?"

I was dazed for a moment. Alex was really stunning today. She had her platinum hair styled, wearing a white dress hugging her hourglass body and a strong but soft perfume that got me intoxicated for a moment.

I mean, she is stunning ... as in ... very flashy, kind of stunning.

Everyone around also had the same reaction as me. They took out their phone, intending to take a picture of Alex because she looked like a cartoon character came to life.

"Okay, let's just go now. You're attracting too much attention," I said. I grabbed her hand, and we went to her car.

She drove to the office where I was supposed to have mv interview. "Is it far?" I asked. I was thinking about moving to a new apartment or rented house if it was too far from Rosie's apartment.

"Hmm, kind of, but it's still around Seoul, don't worry," Alex smiled. I glanced at her for a moment and then commented;

"You're really flashy today. Are you going on a date or what?"

"I am going on a date right now," Alex chuckled. "You're my date today, aren't you?"

"Eh? Me?" I blinked few times and then laughed freely. "Ahahahaha! Alex, didn't I tell you that you deserve to be with someone better? Seriously though, don't waste your time with me."

"Well, I'd waste my time with you rather than wasting it on some random people I don't like," Alex replied seriously.

I sighed. I knew that Alex was interested in me. But I really had no interest in her other than being a friend and coworker. Maybe because my heart was always beating for Lisa and Lisa only.

So even someone as amazing as Alex didn't budge me at all.

"Well, I just don't want you to feel like you're wasting your time. I really appreciate your help, you know" I said.

Alex only replied with a smile and when we arrived at the building. She escorted me to the CEO's office at the top of the building, and I saw a middle-aged man who was busy reading some documents.

The moment he saw Alex, his face brightened, and he got up, "Ah, Ms. Alex, welcome, welcome. Is this the new secretary who wants to work here?"

Alex smiled politely, "Yes, her name is Jennie Ruby Jane Kim. She has been working as a secretary for five years, and she is very competent. I can vouch for that."

I saw that Alex and this CEO were close friends, or at least, they were in a good term with each other.

The CEO looked at me, and he smiled, "My name is Jiyong Kwon. You can call me Mr. Jiyong or Boss Kwon."
