Chapter 81

LISA POV:

Lisa stretched her body as she yawned after a good night's sleep. She scratched her body as she looked at the ceiling.

"Huh... why is my room's ceiling so low?' She pondered. She looked down and saw a blanket covering her body.

'Why do I have a Donald Duck's blanket? When did I buy it?' She pondered again.
She turned her head to the left and found that she was sleeping in front of the television, on the couch. Lisa's eyes widened as she got up and looked around, half dazed and half surprised.

'Did I just sleep in Jennie's apartment?!'

Lisa checked her clothes and sighed in relief after she realized that she was still fully clothed. Because it would be a big waste if she actually did it with Jennie while she was completely unconscious out of exhaustion.

Lisa looked around and see there was no trace of Jennie, and when she saw the clock, she realized that Jennie must've gone to work.

Lisa walked to the kitchen and then drank a glass of water. She sat at the dinner table, slowly trying to process what was happening last night and what happened currently.

"Did I just sleep in Jennie's apartment?" Lisa repeated the question vocally this time. It was just too surprising for her because she thought Jennie would never give her permission to stay in her apartment for a long time.

And now, Lisa could suddenly eat and sleep here even without Jennie's around.

Lisa checked her phone and then saw a text from Jennie.

Wife : There is a box of fried rice in the freezer for your breakfast. But I doubt you'd wake up early, so I put it there. You can heat it with the microwave.

Then another text got came to hee phone just now.
Wife: Don't forget to take out the trash in the kitchen. It will smell bad if you forgot. Oh, if you want to leave, don't forget to put the key under the welcome mat, as always.

Lisa stared at the text. She still couldn't believe that Jennie wouldn't send such text to her, acting as if they were actually closer.

Well, of course, she was so grateful that Jennie finally trusted her. But it came as a surprise, so she didn't know how to react.

"Am I still dreaming?" Lisa pinched her arm, and she could feel the pain. She shook her head twice to convince herself. After the realization that she wasn't dreaming right now, her cheeks reddened.

"So Jennie really trusted me... She even allowed me to stay and sleep in her apartment...."

Lisa opened the fridge and saw fried rice with egg in a plastic container. She took it and then put it on a plate.

Then she put it in the microwave for five minutes.

She took out the trash and then walked out to the end of the corridor, where the trashes were all collected into one.

Lisa returned to Jennie's room and started eating her 'breakfast, Although it was already ten o'clock.

Lisa then instinctively cleaned the room because Jennie was too busy to clean it in the morning
