Chapter 11

LISA'S POV:

In the end, after her makeup had been ruined, Jennie decided to just wash all her make up, leaving her bare-faced and upset. Robin(Lalisa) chuckled and commented at upset Jennie, "Why are you pouting like that? You look fresh!"

"Stop with that sweet talk! If you want to laugh, just laugh!" Jennie yelled at Lisa, who was enjoying the funny view. "Ugh, do you know how much time I spent to apply that makeup?"

"I feel sorry, but you look better like this," Lisa said sincerely. Truly, she didn't really like a woman who was dolled up. She appreciated them for taking time to make themselves beautiful, of course, but whenever she saw a dolled-up woman, she instantly remembered Diana and her strange doll look and exaggerated expression to hook lisa.

It made her felt non-human for Lisa.

'Hm... honestly, I like Jennie Unnie like this...' Lisa thought. She felt closer to Jennie after seeing her bare face.

'And Jennie Unnie is beautiful in my eyes,' Lisa was in a better mood to do this rental date. Her mission today was not to do a random date with a woman she just knew. Since the situation called it, Lisa wanted to use this rental date to make sure her overbearing mother finally stopped matching her with a random people.

Lisa held Jennie's hand, who jolted immediately, "W-Why are you holding my hand?!"

"Huh, we are on a date. What do you think we will do? Wrestle?"

Jennie was not used holding someone's hand. She was fidgety, but since this was part of the rental girlfriend service, she didn't want to miss anything.

"Is this part of your rental girlfriend service? You guys sure know how to hook a woman," Jennie grumbled, but in the end, she still accepted Lisa's hand and walked out of KFC. The day was quite sunny, and they didn't know where to go.

Since lisa was leading, Jennie thought that Lisa had a perfect date spot for them as a part of her rental girlfriend protocol. But Lisa just walked to the nearest park and sat on the bench under a magnolia tree.

Jennie frowned, she thought it should be more than this, but before she opened her mouth, Lisa put her index on Jennie's lips and then leaned in to whisper, "Unnie, would you help me here? Act like we are a real couple. Look at your left."

Jennie glanced to her left and saw a man dressed in a checkered shirt and jeans. There was nothing wrong at all with his appearance. Thus Jennie asked in a low voice, "For what?"

"We are being watched by my mom. Unnie, I need your help here." Lisa whispered as she glanced at the other spot. She noticed a woman leaning on the tree near them with her phone. She remembered this girl who kept following her.

When Lisa confronted her, she said that she was ordered by Madam Manoban, her mother.

"There are plenty of them here," Lisa said to Jennie.

Jennie felt a bit ridiculous. Did she just transmigrate into a rom-com novel with a rich second generation or what?

"Robin Manoban, is this part of your rental girlfriend service or what?" Jennie whispered in Lisa's ears.

.... Yes, you just purchased a rich second generation rental girlfriend service,' Lisa didn't know if Jennie was just pretending, or she was just too dense to realize that everything was suspicious since the very start.
