The old driver bowed deeply after and then said, "With this, I think my duty for years is done. Young Mistress, this old driver needs a rest. I want to resign."

"What?! Why?" Lisa thought that she had misheard. This was the first time the old Uncle driver ever said he wanted to resign after more than fifteen years of working with the Manoban family.

"Is it about money? I can double your payment if you have a problem with it," Lisa suggested. She was grieving over this because she thought the Old driver would stay with her forever.

Since he was the most trustworthy man for Lisa, even though he was just a driver.
