JENNIE'S POV:

'Fuuuuuuck ... ' I cursed in my heart as I looked up to Lisa's eyes. Her gaze was both pleading and demanding to me. She was really dead set on knowing my real identity. I gulped and shook my head. With my lower pitch voice, I replied, "Ma'am, there is no use of revealing my face. I'm just a regular woman working here."

"That's what a certain woman said to me once, saying that she's just a regular woman with nothing special about her, not even her face," Lisa said. "But that's just a lie. What I saw is a wonderful woman full of energy and warmth."

'Who is she talking about? Her girlfriend or boyfriend?' I wondered. 'I doubt she's talking about me. That's just a regular line for a person will say to get their targets attention. It's better not to take a risk!'

"Trust me, Ma'am. I'm just a regular woman ... " I replied.

Lisa stared at me full of suspicion. It made me felt like she already knew my identity for some reason, but if she already knew that I'm Jennie, how come she doesn't kick me out immediately? I'm the one who insulted her many times, even have the audacity to block her number.

"Really? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so let me inspect closer," Lisa said.

Lisa leaned closer until our eyes were only an inch away. I retreated a bit to give a space between us. I have to say, her facial feature was too beautiful up close. She even had flawless skin, without any pimple or whatsoever.

'Damn it, and I'm here have to fight with acne!' I yelled in my heart as I got distracted a bit by Lisa's gorgeousness.

Lisa blinked few times. Her long lashes wavered as she continued staring at my eyes, deep penetrating into my soul, "Secretary Kim, I knew someone who acts just like you. She is someone that could make my heart flutter and made me act like an idiot. Even stranger, I'd so gladly be a cute idiot for her. As long as I can get her attention."

Alex interrupted as she got amused by Lisa's words just now, "Oh? So our cute Lili finally got herself a girlfriend? That's surprising, really."

Lisa ignored Alex, still staring at me. But I was the one who got curious instead.

Maybe with Alex, I could know more about this girlfriend that Lisa had. The lucky girl.

"Ms. Priest, do you know about Ms. Lisa's girlfriend?" I asked Alex. Alex raised her left brow and had a small smirk on her face.

"Why are you asking about Lisa's girlfriend? When there is someone like me right in front of you? You can ask about me instead. I have a lot to tell," Alex replied.

'Yeah, no thanks, I know with only one glance that you collect women like you collect
Pokemon card.' I thought as I rolled my eyes.

Alex laughed at my reaction. Thus she nodded lightly, "Yeah, Lisa is obviously a very gorgeous specimen, just like me. I have to admit. She is the daughter of Madam Evelynn, the famous editor-in-chief of VAGUE magazine, and I've known her since we were just a child!"

"Well, Lili has a big crush on girl back then. She would ramble on and on about this girl she loved so much and even planned to marry her. But well, it was just a childhood sweetheart, a crush from the past. Lili has moved on, right?" Alex asked Lisa.

Lisa was still staring at my eyes, and she mysteriously grinned, "I'm not sure if I have completely moved on from my childhood sweetheart.?
