LISA'S POV:

Madam Lin left Lisa's room as soon as possible. She was too scared because this pretty young woman definitely had few screws loose.

Lisa chuckled as she saw the middle-aged lady ran away like a dog with tails tucked between her legs.

She knew that intimidating a middle-aged woman like that wasn't exactly the noblest thing to do, but that was the only way for that lady to work under her guidance. She knew that Jennie was a strong woman who said that she wanted to marry a rich woman, so she didn't need to work.

But she had never asked for anyone's help in her entire life, so lisa assumed that Jennie said that as a joke. Something to ease her stress, though she seemed to take pride in herself becoming the breadwinner for her family since she was also the first child.

Lisa didn't want to poke on the kitten by showering Jennie with money and diminishing her pride. At least not now. Lisa wanted to shower Jennie with money and everything else after they got married.

'Marriage, huh ... '

The thought about marriage was bone deep inside Lisa's heart as if she had been waiting for the moment where she would hold Jennie's hand as they exchanged their vows to be together until death do them part.

'As if ... I have been waiting for fifteen years ... '

Lisa closed her eyes. She had the promise to marry Batman-J fifteen years prior, so in the end, she still had to find Batman-J first to sort out her feeling. Whether she wanted to chase Batman-J ... or Jennie ...

"If only they're the same person ... " Lisa lamented over the fact that her feeling wasn't loyal, and she fell in love with two women.

"Or at least, let me marry both of them ... "

Acting like an accidental playgirl, Lisa was thinking about taking care of her two love interests, Jennie and Batman-J, and making them both happy.

Lisa called Bambam one of her most trusted subordinates.

'Yes, Boss, is there something you want me to do?' Bambam asked at the end of the call.

'Go to the village that I told you before to search for Batman-J or any lead regarding her. You need to do an extensive search this time,' Lisa ordered.

'Eh? I thought you stopped since two years ago. But, boss, we've searched for almost a year without any lead. The villages have changed so much for the past fifteen years, and most of the children around your age has moved on to the better village and settle down, or go to the big city to get a job,' Bambam reported his finding, the village was not really prosperous, and the only big house in that village is Lisa's late grandma's house.

'Besides, they already forgot about the identity of that Batman-J of yours since it's been fifteen years, and the girl also disappeared after you left the village.'
