It's has been a month since Kaira working as my baby's babysitter. I always keeps my eyes on her. If I leave for work, I charge my guards to look after them, secretly. Until now I haven't found anything suspicious but still I need to be more careful.
This morning I got up with Tara on my stomach. I caressed her hair. Her cheeks were plastered against my chest making her lips pout. My thumb softly rubbed her milky soft cheeks. I pat her back then caressed it. It feels so good to have your love one in your arms. She cuddled in my more. It was cute when she tried hugging me but her hands couldn't fit around my body. I kept giving her light massage.
The house falls so silent when she sleeps or else she keep the whole house wrapped in her little finger, even she shout and annoy people,no one get offend. My baby.
She coughed. I jerked and saw water from her nose. I gasped when I realised the duvet wasn't upon our bodies. Shit...my child would be feeling cold. I switched off the AC and drag the duvet till her ears. She sniffled.
I held her more tightly giving her more warmness. She whimper,"Mhmh..ACCHU..!" she sneezed. "Sitara baby aren't you feeling well ?" she moved her head but I didn't understand. Holding her neck and bum,I sat up carefully. Her nose and cheeks were red. "Baby, what are you feeling ?"
"P-paining." she sniffled pointing at her cheeks. "Aww my baby..let me call the doctor." I made her sleep on the bed. "SAKSHI. SAKSHI COME HERE INSTANTLY."
"What's wrong ?" she questioned sleepily. All came to hall. "Call dr. Das immediately. Tara caught cold","But boss dr. Das is out of station right now. His friend's health wasn't well so-" Sakshi explained,I groaned,"hah..she is lying there with red cheeks and nose. WHAT SHOULD I DO ? WE CAN'T EVEN GIVE ANY RANDOM MEDICINES TO A TODDLER." I fisted my hair.
"No need for medicine. When I get cold na. I drink something and my cold fly away in air. Wait !" Kaira was about to leave when I stopped her."Will it work ?"
"Yeah..! You give her a warm bath, brush her teeth, I'll be there as soon as I prepare it." she smiled and walked out of the front door. What she was going to do outside ?
I made my way upstairs, saw Tara rubbing her eyes by her fist. "Is it hurting much ?" she nodded. I picked her in my arms. I helped her brushing her teeth. I undressed her and was keeping in bathtub when shrieked,"ahh..! No..!" she wiggled out of my arms and rushed out. Shit, she was naked.
I ran after her and saw her descending from the stairs. My eyes went wide,"TARA. BABY DON'T GO THERE. Come back.",if she falls she will hurt herself. When she was down she glanced at something at the left then dashed into the kitchen.
When I went there,I saw her in kaira's arm. She was resting her head on her shoulder whereas Kaira was stirring something in the pan and holding her in one hand. I sighed in relief.
She turned,"Mr. Shekhawat. Thanks for giving her bath, now take her and dress her she might feel more cold." she came near me. "No. She haven't taken a bath yet." I scratched the back of my neck.
"oh..then take her. Give her a bath first. She should be clean first at the morning." Tara's eyes welled up at the name of bath. "Look. She don't want to take a bath and I don't have any idea last time when she took a bath?"
"WHAT ? Until now I was just doubting you are an idiot but now I'm hundred percent sure, you're an idiot." She stated. "What ? I'm an idiot. First see yourself, being pregnant also carrying a child in your arms. Lifting every heavy things." she frowned. "I know what to do. I lifted her cause she was crying and was feeling helpless," she murmured.
My face softened. "Can you help me with her bath. I don't know what to do ?", now I was feeling helpless. Offcourse she needs a bath. How careless father I am ?! But what can I even do if she always cry and wail when I just take her near the bathtub ?
"okay then," we made our way to her room, then into her bathroom.

I caught her checking around the bathroom. I smirked, offcourse she wouldn't have seen this kinda bathroom.
"Can you fill the tub with the necessary things ?" I nodded and did my work. She sat Tara in the bathtub,I noticed her whimpering when her body touched with the water. She sniffled and her lower lip started trembled. Oh my baby, just some minutes.
"Tara, first you need to say me, why you don't like bath ? Is the water scare you ?" Kaira asked very soft voice. I never thought this woman also has a soft side. I shrugged.
"I-It hw-hwuts." she pointed her eyes. "oh you mean your eyes hurts ? You know we can avoid that. You trust me, right ?" she nodded her head, pouting. "Now I will give you bath, okay ? Achcha, say me who was giving you bath when your eyes got hurt ?" she questioned taking some water in her palm and drop that on Tara's body.
"I-I."
I was shocked. I never let her use bathroom without me near her. How she took a bath alone ? And I could guarantee Aarna maa or Sakshi could not let her use the bathroom alone cause they know she's little clumsy.
Kaira shoot me a glare and believe me that was a different glare which I haven't even shared with my enemies ever. She gritted her teeth eyeing me,"you were alone ? Where were daddy ? Who asked you to take a bath alone ?"
She whispered"oh..nu nu dada. Momma." our gaze snapped at her.
