I was in my office. Checking through the documents of my bar. I needed them for official work. I heard a wail,"ahh..!" It was not loud enough. My office was downstairs so maybe it was from somewhere near me. I rushed out. I noticed kitchen lighting was on.
I ran into the kitchen, to find Kaira hung by the cabinet ?! Wait...what ? I realised she was holding it tightly as the stool was moving. "Kaira," I held her and made her stand.
"Are you crazy ? What if you would have fallen down ?"I scolded her but her next action surprised me, she hugged me. I felt something in my chest when I heard her sobs. I tried calming her,"calm down."
I lifted her and made her sit on the kitchen island. My shirt was getting wet by her tears, believe me my heart ached by her cries. I felt like kicking the stool hard and breaking it into a million pieces. "Maybe you got scared." She nodded. Her heart was racing. I felt her caressing her stomach. I tried to break the hug but she whimpered loudly,"ok ok, I am here." I moved to the jug and poured water in a glass. "Drink it.",I asked her to drink the water which she did without any struggle,I rubbed her scalp with my fingers. She thanked me,"t-thank y-ou."
I picked her in my arms. I took her to her room, back and placed her softly on the bed and covered her with a quilt. I realised she was not leaving my hand. "D-Don't leave, p-please." Her voice trembled. I sat on the bed and leaned towards her, I caressed her hair. She moved closer to me.
"I-I am so-sorry for b-bother-ring y-ou",she sobbed again. "It's normal during pregnancy to get scared easily. Nothing is wrong, calm down."I didn't know why but I kissed her head. Even though we didn't have any relationship, I still like her and if she is not okay, it upsets me. I felt her relaxing after holding me.
Her breathing got even. "Why did you go to the kitchen ? Aarna maa even wasn't there." I exclaimed. "I w-wanted to have something yummy." I nodded,"okay, now sleep." I whispered in her ears.

I woke up as sunlight fell on my face. All memories of last night came flooding in my mind. I gulped down some water as I had a pretty irritating headache. It's normal whenever I cry, I get a headache.
I blushed thinking about basta-I mean, Mr. Shekhawat. He was not that bad, honestly. Or else who thinks about other people in this selfish world. I touched my forehead where he had kissed. I squealed. It's such a great feeling when your crush kisses you. I smiled widely while walking to the bathroom. I sang under the shower.
I came out wearing a towel around my body, a bunch of mouth watering smell hit my nostrils. My gaze fell on my bed, I gasped approaching it. There was a clean piece of cloth on the bed and a tray filled with bowls of manchurian, soup and chow-mein in them. There were some packets of chocolates. I squealed then noticed a paper under a bowl.
I read it,it says, 'Good morning, I hope you had a good sleep. These are all for you. Make sure to close your door and do not tell Sitara about it or else she will cry for it. And I don't want my baby to think I am being mean to her. By the way, you sing well.

I blushed. Oh fudge, he heard me singing. I hid my hand in my palms and squeaked. I jumped laughing. I instantly wore my clothes and sat near the food. I licked my lips and started digging into the food. I kept the chocolate packets in the cupboard to eat them later.
I leaned my back against the headboard after I was done. I took my dishes to the kitchen and kept them in the sink. "Liked it?" I jumped. I heard a chuckle and turned,"yeah." I said to Mr. Shekhawat, holding my chest. Before I could thank him, he ambled out of the kitchen. I cleaned my mouth and went to the garden, searching for Sitara. She was running around.
She noticed me and hugged my legs. "Did you take your bath?" She nodded,"t-today, daddy hewped (*helped) me with a bathie," she grinned as I kissed her cheek.
"Wiw you pway wif me ?"she questioned me and I shook my head positively.
We played with her ball. We heard a 'Woof', Pup came running to us and started playing with the ball. I sat on the swing and threw the ball whereas they two ran behind it. "Yeah, I won." Sitara giggled, shouting as she reached first. I clapped my hand,"very good." I kissed her cheek. Pup tilted her head, staring at us. "Aww..!"I picked him up and kissed him everywhere on his face.
I forgot to mention earlier but when we had taken him to the vet, we got to know, he was a male puppy. Our baby boy. I kissed him again.
"Can I join ?" Mr. Shekhawat came. He was wearing a t-shirt and track pants. My cheeks became warm under his intense gawk. "Oh yeah,daddy." She threw the ball to him.
He caught it. "Come, play with us." He said, wiggling his eyebrows.
We played until we were all sweaty and tired. "I want watew (*water)." Sitara exclaimed and raced in, Pup ran behind her, following her in. "You know, you are so fat." Mr. Shekhawat told him near my ear. I gasped and slapped his shoulder,"shut up."
"Aww..look that cute angry face." He squeezed both of my cheeks. I rolled my eyes, biting my bottom lip, feeling shy all of a sudden. "So gorgeous shy face." I felt his tap on my cheek. I rushed inside after pushing his hand away.
