You could hear the fight going on in the other room. All you had to do was wait for Stiles' call. One call to say it was time to lock the door. But he was taking longer than everyone thought he would. Finding that you couldn't just sit around and wait while the other wolves took a beating you hurried to the door and opened it up a crack.

"Derek?" You whispered. There was silence now. The hallways were quiet. Taking cautious steps towards the last place you had seen Derek you made your way down the empty hall. The walls had deep gouges and scratches. Windows were broken. Jumping at the sound of your phone you hurried to answer it.

"(Y/N)!" Derek hissed from a side room. He looked magnedled and injured. The phone rang again and you picked it up. As you did Derek pulled you into the side room.
"We're ready. Shut it in the room at the end of the hall." Stiles said as soon as you answered the phone. Derek shoved past you and tackled the creature. After watching the fight horribly drag on the creature pinned Derek down. He was inches away from the room. If Derek could get up then he could get the creature into the room with ease. Realising Derek couldn't get up you swallowed your nerves. Derek's body made a cracking sound that made you gag. Something had to be done. There wasn't any sign of the other werewolves. You had to do something.

"(Y/N) no!" Derek gasped out as you ran at them. The creature looked at you just as you slammed into it. There was just enough force so that you could ram it into the room. Derek hurried to grab you by the back of your jacket and pulled you out of the way as he slammed the door. You sat on the floor catching your breath as Derek limped over to you and held out a hand. He was smiling despite being injured.

"Derek are you ok?" You asked nervously.

"Am I ok? You just tackled that thing for me. I'm great." Derek replied. He was grinning now and almost laughing. There was a glow from the door and he hurriedly turned around. Both of you watched as the door glowed and seemed to seal shut.

"I guess that's it. What do we do now? I don't even know what to do with the rest of the day but now we've caught this thing..." You asked him.

"For the first time, I see what the rest of my life looks like." Derek answered as he looked back at you and helped you up. "How about we get out of here and try to find the others. Then we could order some food in. Watch a movie while we heal up?"

"Sure that sounds like a plan." You said quickly. He was limping a little but was still careful to help you through the debris of the fight.

"Sorry your valentine's day was ruined." Derek muttered.

"Are you kidding. Who wouldn't want to save the world from a super string werewolf hunting creature." You joked and laughed as he made an awkward face.

"I guess I'll just owe you a relaxing day off or something." Derek offered.

"You know I wouldn't mind a lift to the library that's out of town. Seeing as there is a gaping hole in this one." You teased me. Derek assures you that he could do that before hurrying to find where Boyd and Isaac were shouting for help from.
