Request: #december2022 "I noticed that the holiday preparation had stressed you out and you were getting pretty tired so I wanted to do something special for you." With Derek Hale would be perfect!

Your mouth fell open as you walked into the apartment. Malia's new car had some kind of issue because of the cold and she had called you early in the morning to help her out. It turned out that the key wouldn't connect to the car to start it because of the cold.
You had no idea that it could be a ruse for Derek to... well do this. Looking around the apartment, it was decorated in a holiday theme from top to bottom. Every inch of the apartment was decorated. All the gifts were now wrapped and piled neatly into bags, each bag labelled for each person. You could smell food cooking and see piles of cookies in boxes.
"Hey!" Derek said. He was followed by Scott, Stiles and Isaac who all looked surprised that you'd arrived.
"Malia didn't text me to say (Y/N) was on the way." Scott muttered and you smiled.
"Why did you do all this by yourselves?" You asked as you set down your bags. You'd stopped at a store on the way home to get more gifts.
"I noticed that the holiday preparation had stressed you out and you were getting pretty tired so I wanted to do something special for you." Derek answered as he set down the things in his arms. "I figured maybe I could do this for you."
"Well it does mean I can get things finished tomorrow instead of the day after and I'll have a free day." You said and grinned at him. "Thank you."
The two of you gravitated to each other and Isaac groaned.
"If you two are going to start making out I'm leaving." He said loudly. Derek made a dismissive gesture and you laughed as they all hurried out leaving you and Derek alone.
