Halloween event

Derek looked up as you shuffled into the loft. He could hear several whispers encouraging you to come in and speak to him. He smiled and leaned back on the sofa he was sitting on as you came nearer.

"Do you like scary movies?" You asked quickly. Derek frowned and looked past you at the group of curious faces peeking around his front door. They all quickly vanished when they spotted him looking at them.

"I do. Some of them anyway. Why?" He asked and you sighed.

"Well we're going to a movie marathon and we wanted to ask you to come." You started to explain. Derek nodded and shrugged.

"Sure." He said simply and you nodded. He frowned again when you started making an odd noise which grew in pitch as it continued.

"Urrr mmMM!" You let out. You were now shuffling from one foot to the other while fiddling with your clothes.

"Is there a problem? You guys can't all afford to go or something?" Derek asked. You huffed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Well. One of the movies is a werewolf movie and we wanted to tell you and ask if you still wanted to come in case it offended you." As you spoke awkwardness made your body stiffer and stiffer as you tried to gauge how Derek was going to react. He laughed. Loudly and genuinely enough that Stiles popped his head around the door with his mouth gaped open.

"I don't mind that at all. I'd like to come if that's ok with everyone." Derek answered. He watched you let out a huff of air, that you must have been holding in.

"You really won't mind. We looked it up online. It's very anti-werewolf." You explained. Derek was grinning as he got up and went to fetch his jacket.

"I won't mind at all. It's Halloween. It's scary movie season." Derek was amused when you looked a little relieved and as he followed you out you hurried ahead, hurrying to tell the others that he'd be coming along.
