Journal Entry # 27 Friday, Night 8:35 pm 2018
"D'you want something?" Dallas asked as we moved up in line. I looked at the options on the table before us. "Pizza!" I said with a smile. I looked again and gasped. "No! M&Ms!" I grinned. Dallas raised a brow. "Are you sure?" He asked. I nodded.

We walked away to a booth on the brick wall, far away from the dance floor. We sat down and eat our food, making small talk. I looked around.

Over by the sloped entrance to the auditorium on the railing, stood one of my other best friends with bleached hair, Skylar Halibye. I stood up abruptly. Dallas looked up at me, curious. Waved my hand for him to follow. "C'mon!" I said, walking away. I heard a little commotion behind me; a squeaking of feet and chairs being moved quickly.
"Hey, Sky." I said. Dallas came up behind me. Skylar looked up. "Oh hey!" She said. " Is this your boyfriend?" She asked, gesturing to my friend beside me. I cringed inside at the word. Don't. "Sure.." I muttered. Skylar raised a brow. "What?"
I looked up. "Y-Yea." I said. "This is Dallas." I gestured to the side at him. Sky nodded. She frowned a bit and motioned for him to come closer. She whispered loud enough it was the intention that I heard it. "You break her heart, I break your arm. " She said. I smiled awkwardly. "Thanks Sky.." I mumbled. I really was grateful for her gesture and care, but not here.. not for him.. Sky suddenly waved to someone. A few seconds later, another of my friends emerged from the crowd. I blinked. It was someone else I'd met in the sixth grade, Charlie Delilah.
