Journal Entry # 10 Friday 2017
It took a while for me to get use to Briar sauntering over to my row in gym class, at the end of the line; whereas his place is near the center of the first row. I still had feelings for him, but it was good to have him as a friend.

Journal Entry # 11 Tuesday 2017
Months passed, and we hung out like the friends we never were before. It was like we were meant for each other.
Today we were playing dodgeball. Like any other day, I found myself trying to look good in front of Briar, or somehow impress him. I'm not sure how or when that started. We lined up on the walls in two groups. Someone counted down from five, then everyone dashed for the ball line for their side. We got a lot of dodgeballs on our left side, luckily.
I jumped out of the way of Jessie Cottenzoe's shot, and it hit the back wall behind me. I frowned and grinned mischievously. I threw the purple ball in my hands at Geegee Fender. She was on the left near the back wall opposite the empty ball line. Geegee's eyes widened as she caught sight of the ball, and flinched as she tried moved out of the way in time. I smiled and waved at her, as she got hit. I walked around to find another ball on the ground.

I picked up a red ball and held on to it to get someone else out. I threw the ball and got Jessie out of the game. Now on our team only Briar, Nella Oren, Quinton Bryce, Brianna Gwen and I remained standing in the game. On the opposing team stood; Asher Wish, Heidi Sharp, Anna Spinelli, and Donner Trent.
Coach Masshell paused the game, and made everyone remaining to replenish the ball line. Everyone went to the back wall and waited for the count down.
"5, "Anna started. " 4." Briar continued. "3" Donner said. " 2" Heidi said. "1..!" I said.
The teams ran at the ball line and retreated with ammo. Dodgeballs rained down on everyone.

Coach Masshell told us to go get ready for next period, and we filed out of the small gym into the connected big gym, to our respected gender locker rooms.
I opened my locker and pulled out my backpack, replacing it with my gym clothes. I pulled on a soft, but light teeshirt, contrasting the hot, sweaty gym shirt, and picking up my bag, I walked out the exit door into the cross hallway and sat down to wait. Briar walked out of the boys locker room a second later, and instead of sitting with his friends, he sat down next to me. I blinked, and pulled out my phone. I glanced over at Briar for a few seconds. He was on his phone, playing a game I found hard to beat, Geometry Dash. I personally prefer Geometry Dash Meltdown.

The bell rang, and we went to our next class periods. Some how, in the middle of the year, our lunch schedule was changed. We used to have C lunch, now we had A lunch. That meant that we had lunch before our fourth period class, not after.
