Journal Entry # 12 Wednesday  2019

My parents moved me from AP English, to normal English. AP was too hard, and they honestly expected more of me than I could give. My new teacher was Ms Starr, room 214.
I walked the hall searching for the room.

I passed it first time, and felt embarrassed. I was assigned a seat in the back. I was fine with that. I set my backpack down on the desk and unpacked my journal and pencil bag. I glanced at the door. Orion was there, and looked pale white as he saw me,-like he'd seen a ghost. Is he okay? I raised a brow.

"Hey." I said waving. He doesn't seem too happy... I looked at the floor. Maybe I should've been assigned a different class.. I set my bag down and stared at the empty desk glumly. Metal squeaked out of place next to me like someone sat down.

I looked up. It was Orion. And he looks.. happy to see me.
"Hey." He said.

"Orion.." Ms Starr said.  Everyone turned, as she pointed to his desk in the front. The class laughed.

"Could I sit back here?" He asked.

"No," Ms Starr said laughing. "That's not where your seat is."

(This teacher was young and seemed to have an established sense of humor. )

I snickered. He's funny.. Orion wrapped his arm around me. I glanced at his hand and looked at the desk blushing. I hate being new.. I'm fine with this, but I already thought people were looking at me. I smiled a small bit, leaning into Orion nervously.

"Orion do not make me tell you again." The young teacher ordered. Orion begrudgingly got up and sauntered over to his desk at the front. He glanced at me many times and I smiled. Ah.. this was gonna be a long ass year..
