Journal Entry #9 Friday 2018

It was Friday in the week, and we of course, had a pep-rally. Unlike most schools I've been to, you could skip it and do something else. But it had to be like a study-hall thing. A few teachers let students do whatever and talk, especially if you had nothing missing and no assignments to do. I didn't have anything to do. So, we got to goof off. Lyric, Friday and I were sitting in a computer lab classroom with many other students. I mean, many; the room was almost packed.

We got to sit at the computers. Some kid behind us had hacked his computer or something to play Minecraft. I had tried by looking it up, but the site was blocked. Of course it is.. They only care about students cooperating.

I shook my head. "Unbelievable.." I muttered. Suddenly Lyric slammed her hands on the counter between Friday's space and mine. "Okay," She said. I smirked, and huffed. "I'm breaking the ice!" She said, pointing to us. "You like her, you like her, okay. I'm done!" Lyric walked away to who knows where. I stared at the screen, feeling Friday's eyes on me. I blinked. I played Cool-Math-Games on the computer. The name of the site was misleading. It was just games, nothing to do with math. Friday passed a note to me. It was prettily folded. The writing on it said, 'Open at home,' so I stuck it in my bag.

I looked at the time. "Holy shit." 3:44PM. The bell rang. Friday held out her hand to me as we stood up. I frowned, confused. I stood there a few seconds before it clicked. I took her hand, and we walked out together. We occasionally swung our arms back and forth dramatically. All through the Commons too, but when we got to the double doors, we let go, and went to the railing by the exit door of the cafeteria outside. It was raining, and the roof was keeping some parts of the sidewalk dry, but it was mostly wet.

I looked for the Jeep. When I caught sight of it, we left the under roof, and walked our separate ways. before Friday left though she blew me a kiss good bye.
