Journal Entry # 28 Friday, Night 8:45 pm 2018

Charlie had aged well. Her green eyes matched everything she wore, just like last time we met. Her brunette hair was now dyed a darker natural brown. Her freckles didn't cover her entire face as they had in our youth. She sported a cowgirl hat, and wore suspenders over a nice dress shirt and jeans.

"We got a real cowgirl over here!" Sky said. Charlie came over smiling. "Hey." She said. "What's up Charlie!" I said, hugging her. "Ohh, I've missed you guys!" She said, pulling out of it.

I laughed. "I some how lost your number.. Don't ask, it fell into the river." Sky and Charlie laughed. "Awe, it's good to see you too, I'll give it to you later." Charlie said. She blinked, and turned, just noticing Dallas. "And who's this?"

Sky nodded. "That's her boyfriend." I scrunched my eyebrows. Please don't.. "Wait you have a boyfriend now, too?" Charlie asked. I cringed. Oh god.. "Since when did you get a boyfriend?" I looked down a bit. Please stop saying the B word.

"Last year.." I lied. Dallas frowned at me. He opened his mouth, then closed it just as quickly. Good-. It's not his place.

Sky made a sound of approval. " So you two have been a couple for a year?"

I frowned. We're not a couple. "We've been together a year, yes."

Dallas suddenly cleared his throat. "Um,.. Willow's been trying her skill at animation."

I looked up at him. Change of subject! Yes! Thank you!

Charlie titled her head. "Really?" I nodded, pulling out my phone.

"Wow." Said Sky and Charlie together. "That's Impressive." Sky said. I felt a sudden pain in my foot. "Ow.." I said. My eyes widened and I reached down.

Dallas reached out to me. "Are you okay?" He asked. I frowned. "Yea, I've just been standing too long." I said. Damn these shoes!

"Um, excuse us ladies, we have an issue we need to take care of." He said to my friends. Charlie frowned. "What's wrong?" I held Dallas' shoulder for balance. " My feet are starting to hurt in these shoes."

Charlie gave an understanding look, and we rushed into the hallway under the stairs. I sat down, and Dallas sat down next to me. "Are you okay?" He asked. I took off my slip on shoe and rubbed my foot in the center underneath. "No." I said.

"Maybe we should call your parents." He said.

That's exactly what we did. We ended up having to wait an hour, and the night was over..
