Journal Entry #22 Friday 2019

I cried on the last day of school, outside. Orion held me in his arms. I'm not sure what caused it; I haven't cried on the outside in two years. He was there for me. It was the first time he'd seen me cry; I mean really cry, not just making noise because I physically can't. "I-I'm scared Orion." I covered my face. ..I'm never gonna see him again. I-I can't lose him.. He just stood there and listened.

"I don't want summer to come.. I don't want to lose you!" I said. I hugged him and sobbed into his shoulder. "You won't." He said gently. I leaned back. "What?" I sniffled.

He wiped away my tears with his thumb, and gazed into my eyes. "We're gonna be okay." He smiled. "I'll see you again."

"You think so?"

He kissed my lips. "I know I will. I promise." I smiled, and hugged him closed to me. I looked beyond him, at the cars and other students. Mom pulled up and honked. I let my forehead hit Orions shoulder. He moved quickly, holding my shoulders. "What! What's wrong?" There was distress in his sweet voice. I looked sadly into his pretty grey eyes. "My mother's here.."

He looked at the row of cars. "Oh.." He looked back at me, and hugged me tightly. "I love you." He said. I hugged him back, and felt his heart beating. "I love you too." I said with a small smile. I pulled away slowly and trudge to the Nissan Versa, waving goodbye to my boyfriend, who began walking home.
