When a page appears in a reading, it indicates someone who needs help or guidance. A page can also provide support that will affect the development of the situation.
The young, fresh-faced pages are feeling the first flush of excitement and trepidation that accompanies all new experiences. They may not literally be young people, but rather they are people who feel young because they are in a new situation. They are just getting the hang of something, figuring out how something works or feels to them, or determining whether the thing in question is right for them. To others, they may appear skeptical or resistant, as they spend time assessing the situation before fully committing. In short, they are observing and learning before deciding.
Pages generally do not have powerful or far-reaching influence. It is unlikely that they, by a decision or action, can upset or radically alter the querent's life. Instead, they are more likely to request the querent's help or support. They can bring enthusiasm and freshness to a situation. And although they are not commonly considered powerful, they can be a great support and help. Not only that, but they are generally eager to be engaged in projects. They are willing to help in order to be part of something larger.
All the pages share curiosity, skepticism, courage, and fear. They all may feel slightly off-balance and grateful for support or guidance. In exchange, they can offer loyalty and enthusiasm. Each page is also very different, as we shall soon see.
