Stars have played roles both mythic and mundane in the lives of humans. We like to wish upon a star. Looking at the stars gives us perspective. Stars are used for navigation

The constellations tell stories; we use them to find understanding, direction, and hope. Their gentle yet brilliant light gives comforting hope in times of darkness. They are not illusionary like the moon nor overwhelming like the sun. They are soft, gentle, and yet amazingly powerful. This card brings refreshment and cleansing after trouble. It promises restored faith and renewed purpose.

The Universal Waite Star is naked, symbolizing being at our most vulnerable. She pours water from the twin pitchers of faith and trust, showing that at this time we need to put our faith and trust in the universal flow of the Divine.

Core meaning:
Guidance, serenity, and hope.

The Legacy Star dances above a scene of devastation. She gives us what we need in order to leave the wreckage behind—not in despair, but in hope.

In the Shadowscapes card, the Star rises above troubled waters. She does not drown but walks gently amongst fish flourishing out of water, her healing flowing behind her. She says that we also will not drown and that her power will help us believe what might seem unbelievable.
