Three-Card Readings

As you know from your experiments in chapter 5, three cards working together create complex and unique answers. For some readers, one card just isn't enough to work with. Use the idea from the one-card spread—that is, ask a single question—and draw three cards instead of one for the answer.

Most people start off with three-card readings that have positional meanings (as opposed to using three cards to answer one question, described above). These readings allow for more complex, or multifaceted, questions and enable us to see relationships between aspects of a situation. Three-card readings are very flexible and can be easily adapted to almost any question. Try some of these or invent your own.
