Chapter 17

We sit down at the restaurant. I immediately recognize it as the place I came with Jaehyun last week

"Get whatever you'd like" Taeyong kindly says
I nod and smile. This is the first time we actually hangout alone together, it feels so different.

After we order we wait and talk. I won't lie I feel a little awkward, he makes me a bit nervous.

"So uh, are you seeing anyone?" He asks out of the blue. His question catches me a little bit off guard
"Huh? Oh, no I'm not. Are you?"
"No" he smiles
"I'm a bit nervous I don't know why I'm sorry" I admit
"I really thought I was the only one" He sighs in relief as we both laugh

We both finally get over our nerves and get to know each other a lot more. Throughout the night I find myself enjoying his company, but at the same time something feels off from my part. I'm not actually having as much fun as I thought I was going to, but It's not a bad night

"I'm glad we got to spend more time together" Taeyong grins
"Me too" I say back
His voice is so calming to me, it soothes me

"Want me too walk you home?"
I look at my phone, it's not that late yet
"I was actually gonna stop buy the convenience store for some stuff. So I'm alright, thanks"
"You sure?"
"Yeah,don't worry about it go home" I reassure him
"Alright then, call me if you need anything"
"Of course, see you tomorrow" I wave and turn around

"Yujin" I hear him call out
"Yeah?" I turn towards his direction
Suddenly I feel a pair of arms wrap around me, it's warm
"Thanks for tonight, I had fun" he whispers
I don't even get to say anything. I'm a blushing mess, I feel like melting. He lets go and waves once again as he leaves.

Wow...

On my way home I stop buy the store to buy a few things to have at home. Just my usual restocking. I also take the chance to get something for Jaehyun, knowing him he probably hasn't had dinner yet. This will do.

I finally get home and drop off my things. I grab what's Jaehyun's and make my way to his apartment and knock. He opens the door and immediately lets me in
"I brought you dinner" I say as I hand out the bag
"Dinner?" he laughs and grabs the bag from my hand
"Aw thanks, you didn't have to"
"So that you don't say that I don't think of you" I say as I sit in his couch

"Aren't you gonna eat?" I ask as I notice he's not making himself the food I brought
"Oh I'm sorry I probably should've mentioned that I already ate"
"You did?"
"Yeah I met up with a friend"
"A friend?"
"Yup"

I think for a minute, did he meet up with the same person he ditched us with earlier?

"What?" He asks as he notices me staying quiet
"Who was the girl you were with earlier? I blurt out
"Girl?"
"You heard me"
"What are you talking about?" He gives me a confused look
"We all saw you with a girl earlier"
"Oh her!" he laughs when he realizes who I was talking about
"Who is she?" I feel myself getting impatient
"She's a friend"
"Friend my ass"
"No really she is"
"How come I've never met her?"
"Didn't think it was necessary" he shrugs

"Are you hooking up with her?"
"I don't hook up with every girl that I hangout with"
"You might as well" I cross my arms
"If that were the case I would've slept with you a long time ago"
I feel my face getting hot at his comment, why did he say it like that?
"Shut up"
He smirks putting away the food

"You're not answering my question though"
"Look, it's not that serious. She's just a friend"
"Still weird I haven't met her"
"Fine. I'll tell her to introduce herself to you then"
I don't say anything. Something feels off about this

"Wanna watch a movie?" He suggests
"I actually have to go do homework" I get up
"Just bring it here"
"I don't know"
He grabs me by my wrists
"Please?"
He's so clingy
"Fine" I huff

He puts something on and sits next to me. We stay quiet as we pay attention to the screen. Halfway into the movie I hear him move around. I then feel him lay his head on my lap

"I'm tired" he says while throwing a blanket on himself
My eyes widen, but I don't say anything. He continues to watch the movie not saying anything but just laying there

What the hell is going on?

"You alright?" he asks
"Yeah"
"We should do this more often"
"Do what?"
"Spend time together"

Have I been spending less time with him these days? Has he been feeling ignored by me?

"Yeah, we should" I say as I stroke his hair
