Chapter 40

Day of trip

It's early in the morning. We're all gathered outside of Johnny's apartment to leave together. We managed to rent out a van big enough to fit all of us

"I'm tired when can we leave?" Jiyoung yawns as she leans on my shoulder
"We're just waiting for everyone to get here" Johnny says
"But everyone is here" I say as I look around mentally checking everyone

"Hi! I'm here!" an obnoxious voice yells out

I roll my eyes as I realize the familiar voice is none other than Seola, Jaehyun's lovely addition to the trip

"No worries you made it on time" Johnny says as he takes her bag and puts it in the back of the van

"Were you guys about to leave without me?" she pouts at Jaehyun
"No, we we're waiting for you" he smiles at her

It's not that deep Yujin. Don't react

"Seola, You remember Yujin right? Jaehyun's girlfriend?" Mina emphasizes as she points towards me
"Yeah. Hey" she looks at me up and down then turns back to Jaehyun

"Bitch" I mutter
"Woah" Jiyoung looks at me laughing a bit

"I don't want her here" I whisper to her
"I don't either, but it was your boyfriend's genius idea"
"I want to smack him for that you don't even know"

"Okay I think everyone is here so we should probably get going" Yuta says

We all start to get in. Jaehyun gets in the middle seat and before I try to get in to sit next to him Seola shoves me out of the way and tries to take my spot next to him

"Hell no" I grab the back of her hoodie and yank her causing her to stumble off

"What the fuck!" she yells out

"Okay you know what" Jaehyun says as he gets out
"Yujin take my spot, I'll sit in the middle"

I glare at both of them as i get in first followed by Jaehyun then Seola. Everyone else, aside from Johnny and Mark were who were in the front,were in the back watching the entire scene play out.

"Uhh, you all good?" Mina asks
"Yes" Jaehyun answers

"Alright then, let's go" Johnny starts the car as we begin to drive off

"Are you sure you're going to be okay? We can always stay" Jaehyun whispers to me

"What? You're taking back the stupid decision you made?"

He doesn't say anything. I might have been a little harsh. While I do feel bad, he chose to invite her knowing how I feel about her.

"It doesn't matter, let's just get this trip over with" I say to him
He nods and turns to face the front

I hope no drama comes out of this trip. Luckily it's only for a weekend

A few hours later

We finally arrive. The car ride felt like an eternity.

"We're here my friends" Johnny says

We all grab our things and walk towards the beach house. It's a big beautiful house that I always look forward to this year, however right now I don't feel as relaxed as how I want to be

"You alright Yujin?" Taeyong asks me
"Yeah I'm good. Are you glad you came along with us?" I ask him
"Yeah actually! This place is so cool" he exclaims as he begins to walk around

His excitement at least brings me a bit of joy

"Yujin" I hear someone call from behind me
"What Seola?" I groan
"You know I hate to meddle into your relationship"
"Then don't" I interrupt her
"But I don't think Jaehyun would appreciate you talking to other guys"

On everything I can't stand this bitch

"Not that it's any of your business, but Taeyong and I are just friends"
"You guys seem real close from what I've seen"
"We're good friends. Also you're kinda weird for looking at who I'm friends with"

"Hm. Would be a shame if someone told Jaehyun something else" she smirks as she walks off

I will go to jail

Jaehyun walks in with his and my belongings in each hand. I notice Seola immediately watching him. Which gave me an idea

I walk towards Jaehyun and grab his face. Giving him a long kiss on the lips, making sure she sees it too. After I let go he looks surprised but pleased with the surprise kiss

"What was that for?" he asks me with the biggest smile on his face
"Just cause. Also cause I felt bad for how I talked to you earlier" That part was true. I don't want him to think that I hate him over this. While it'll upset me for now it's not gonna mess with me the entire time

"Well you're forgiven" he happily replies

I leave to find my friends. I walk passed Seola who was sitting on the couch with a pissed off look on her face. I smile knowing that I got the reaction I wanted out of her

Maybe this trip won't be all that bad after all...
