It's been a few weeks since me and Jaehyun became a couple, it's honestly been super fun. Though we already had a strong friendship, we become even more close when we made our feelings official. It seems like there was so much we held back from each other that now we can speak our minds freely.
Tonight we all agreed to meet up at Miyeon and Jiyoung's place. I'll be honest, since I began my relationship I haven't met up with my friends like how I normally do. I feel bad as I naturally just got into the habit of spending more time with Jaehyun. But at least I can give my friends the attention they deserve.
"Look who finally showed up" I hear Jiyoung call out as we both enter in
"Surprise" I exclaim sheepishly
"Surprise my ass" Mina scoffs
"Come on Mina don't be like that" I hug her from behind, though it seems like she's joking I wouldn't be surprised if they all were at least a bit upset with me
"Outside of school we have barely seen you the past few weeks" Miyeon frowns
"I'm sorry, I promise to make it up to you guys"
"You can start by taking shots with us" Jiyoung chimes in with some shot glasses in each hand
"Already?" I realize it's barley been 5 minutes since I arrived
"You in or no?" Jiyoung asks as she's passing them out to the other two
I'm hesitant, I mean it's going to happen at some point tonight. Might as well start
"Alright pass me one" I say as they cheer me on
I didn't realize that I separated from Jaehyun without saying anything beforehand. He's already with Mark, Johnny, Yuta and Taeyong.
Crap, Taeyong's here
Things have been a bit awkward between us since I rejected him. We don't really talk as much. I miss our old long talks, but the atmosphere always feels tense whenever we're close to each other.
"Oh I hope you don't mind that we invited him" Miyeon catches me looking at Taeyong
"Why would I mind? He's our friend" I smile as I look away
Nothings gonna change the fact that I think he's an amazing person. It's just that I couldn't picture myself being with him the way he wanted us to be, no matter how hard I tried
"Let's keep drinking" Jiyoung pours us all more shots
"So, Yujin" Mina turns to me
By now we've all had enough shots not to make us drunk, but to allow us to loosen up a lot more. After a long week we all need it anyway.
"Hmm" I respond
"How are you and Jaehyun doing?" she asks
I blush at the thought of him. I love how things are going between us, I know that if they don't stop me I'll keep talking about him for hours as if I had an obsession with him.
"We're good" I giggle
I hear them snickering at my reaction, I roll my eyes as I take another shot
"Well I got a question" Jiyoung leans in a bit more closer, we all lean in to hear her
"Have you guys, you know"
"Know what?" Miyeon asks confused
"You know" Jiyoung drags on
"We're all big girls Jiyoung just ask" Mina stops her
"Fine. Have you guys had sex yet?" she finally asks
I sit back up. I didn't think that would be something they'd want to know
"Come one tell us. We know that's Jaehyuns thing" Miyeon smirks
"You guys are nosy" I take another shot, I've had at least 3 or 4 by now
"We're not nosy, just curious" Jiyoung says in defense "Anyways tell us, have you guys done it yet?"
"No, not yet" I huff
I hear them all make confused reactions
"What do you mean not yet?" Mina's eyes widden
"I'm gonna be honest, I really thought you guys would've done it in between the first 2 weeks" Jiyoung sits back
"First 2 weeks?" Miyeon looks at her
"I don't know, I've always seen this sort of sexual tension between them" She looks at me grinning
"Well how come you guys haven't?" Mina asks me
"I don't know" I shrug
"Are you not ready to do it with him?" Miyeon asks
"I am, and it's not even that we haven't tried"
"Then?" Jiyoung starts to make a puzzled look
"I don't think he wants to do it" I look down
They all laugh, it seems like they find it hard to believe
"Jaehyun? Of all people doesn't want to have sex?" Jiyoung laughs uncontrollably
"Shut up it's true"
"Well what makes you say that?" Mina slowly begins to collect herself
"I don't know, we'll be in the mood at first. But before things can even escalate he stops" I explain
They don't seem convinced, I don't blame them
Of course there's more to our relationship than just that, but I really do want to do it with him
"Have you tried talking to him about it?" Miyeon seems to believe me
"I don't want to make it a huge thing"
"Yeah but you should at least see what's stopping him" Mina grows curious as to what his reasoning may be. Though I don't blame her, I want to know too
"I mean yeah I guess"
"Speaking of Mr. Romantic, here he comes" Jiyoung points out to Jaehyun walking towards us
He wraps his arms around me and kisses me on the top of my head "Hi"
"Hi" I accept his warm embrace
"What are you all talking about?"
"Hm, Yujin's just telling us about how crazy you make her feel by being her boyfriend" Mina teases
"Do I now?" he looks down at me
"Maybe just a little" I joke back
"Well I came to ask you guys to come join us, it'll be more fun if we all hangout together instead" he suggests
We all agree and move to the couches where the rest are already at. Before I sit down I pour myself another shot
"How many of those have you taken already" Jaehyun asks
"Just a few"
Even though I enjoy the taste of alcohol every now and then, today is one of those days where I'm really feeling in the mood to just drink and have a good time. I just hope I don't overdo it
