Chapter 33

Later that day

I'm studying with Jaehyun. Even though we have different classes he insisted that we studied together, I would've felt too bad if i declined

"What are you working on?" he leans over my shoulder

"An essay" I look over at him, his look brightens as he looks up at me

"Let's take a break" he says as he closes his laptop

"I have to finish"

"Later" he moves my laptop away from me

He lays on my lap and rests his eyes. I stroke his hair, I love doing that

"Today was a long day" he exhales

"Yup"

I'm hesitant to ask him. What if I'm just overthinking it? 

"Everything alright?" I hear him ask

"Yeah, just that I have a question" 

He sits up and faces me

"Okay, ask away"

"What's your relationship with Seola?"

"We're friends" he immediately responds

"What about before we started dating?"

He chuckles softly, I don't know what he's thinking

"I know she had a crush on me, so I sort of went along with it. But I've never seen her as anything else"

The thought of him toying with girls still irks me deep down. I know he's since changed his ways, but it still creeps up in my head every now and then

"Did she do anything to you?" he asks me

"No, I was just wondering I guess"

While she weirds me out a lot, I don't want to create drama on something that's probably not even that serious. If anything she could be saying this just to say it

"Do you want me to stop hanging around her?"

I don't want to be that one girlfriend. Let's say she wants to start stuff, she'll probably find some sort of satisfaction by thinking I'm intimidated by her if I tell Jaehyun to stay away. Plus if he says he only sees her as a friend it wouldn't be fair to him

"It's okay, I trust you. Just be careful around her" I smile at him

"Don't worry. I worked very hard to finally have you to myself, I'd never mess up"

His reassurance is reliving to me. Though I have a small bit of fear towards her, I won't let it get in the way of our relationship.

I give him a quick kiss on the lip, he makes me happy. I'm happy to be with him

"I'm hungry now" I say

"Let's go get some food then" he laughs
