Chapter 49

It's starting to hit me that I miss his presence. I'm so stupid. I get ready to go to school. It's the last place I want to be at today.
Mina was in the kitchen making us breakfast as she ended up spending the night

"Here's some coffee" she slides the mug to me
"Thanks"

"Any updates?" she asks
"None"

"You don't have his location or anything?"
"No, we didn't think to do that to be honest"
"Hmm"

"This is so stupid" I huff
"We're going to find him" she reassures me
"I hope so" I rest my head on the kitchen counter

The whole day I couldn't concentrate. Nothing could distract me by the fact that I probably chased Jaehyun away. I need to remember what happened that night

I'm walking to the bathroom before someone grabs my arm and pulls me under the staircase

"Who the fuck-"
"Hello Yujin"
"Seola. What do you want now?" I groan as soon as I see her

"Where's Jaehyun"
"Away from you clearly"
"Where is he?" she repeats
"I don't know" I rub my temples

"You chased him away you fucking bitch"
"Excuse you?"
"You know, I always knew you were never good for him. But he's too naive to care. You're literally nothing"

Her words string a bit. Because I do feel like I'm not good enough to be with him, and that's why he cheated on me

"That's enough Seola" Someone calls her from behind

We both look to see Taeyong coming down the stairs

"Taeyong! Hey!" she exclaims
"We we're just talking" she explains
"No, You were trying to tell her things that aren't her fault. Unfortunately I think it's time you leave" He steps down and looks at her

She sucks her teeth as she leaves through the stair exit

"Thanks" I say as I clear my throat

"I heard about Jaehyun" he says
"I figured. It's a pretty shitty situation"
"I'm sure he'll turn up"
"I hope so"

We don't say much to each other. Things between us have also been awkward since the beach trip. Where he confessed he was still in love with me. Literally at the worst time too

"I gotta go. But if you need anything at all I'm here for you" he gets up
"Yeah. Thanks" I smile

He's a sweet guy, but I can't be with him. I have to break it to him soon
