Class finally ended. This week has been a long one, luckily it's almost over.
Tonight's Jaehyun's turn to take me out on a "date" still find it weird to call it that but it's way better than referring to it as a competition
I wait for him outside the entrance, the weather feels so nice. It's not too cold but not super hot either, it feels pretty cozy to me
"Boo" I hear someone whisper in my ear
I turn to face Jaehyun
"You scared me" I smack him
"Sorry" he grins
"Are you ready?" he asks
"Mhm" I nod
"Let's g-"
"Jaehyun!" he's interrupted by someone calling him from the distance
We both look to see Seola approaching us
"Oh, Seola hey" he greets her
"You haven't been hanging out with me" she pouts
"I've been busy, sorry" he smiles at her
"Whatever" she huffs
"Everything okay?" he asks her
Not gonna lie I'm somehow feeling like a third wheel here. Is he going to ditch me?
"Let's hangout right now, I miss you" she whines
"Sorry"
He grabs my hand and interlocks it with his
"I already have plans with Yujin" he says confidently
Woah. I wasn't expecting him to be that, or to be so open about it either
I notice Seola's cheeks puff up a bit, like she's about to explode with anger, surprised Jaehyun doesn't see it
"Wait are you guys dating?" she asks
"Not yet" he answers "But hopefully real soon" he turns to me
I can already feel myself blushing and our date has barley even started, he makes me feel all shy for no reason
"Huh" Seola simply says
"Well we gotta go, I'll talk to you later" he waves at her
We both walk out together. As we get further away from campus I realize he still hasn't let go of my hand. I smile to myself, I don't think I want to let go of his either
We're inside our apartment complex, is this going to be another at home dinner?
"Why are we here?"
"To change"
"Huh?"
"I'm gonna change into more comfortable close, you should too" he does his best to not reveal his date idea
"Where are we going?"
"Can't say" he chuckles at the fact that I'm getting excited
"You suck" I mutter
