Chapter 39

Day before trip

I'm shuffling past my room as I add more things to my bag. Jiyoung, Mina and Miyeon came over to help but right now they're observing me clearly knowing that i'm still upset

"Yujin? You alright there girly?" Jiyoung asks
"I'm great" I simply answer
"Lying ass"

"I don't know. I'm still annoyed that he still decides to invite her"

When Jaehyun said he was inviting Seola I really thought he was bluffing. I thought he was just saying that just to get a reaction out of me for inviting Taeyong to our trip. But it turns out he really did invite her.

Now I know I've said before that I don't mind them being friends but after some time I don't know anymore. She seems to be very obsessive with him. Every time we're together she wants to intervine. Not to mention that after getting to know her she's just very annoying to me.

"I mean Taeyong has been friends with all of us I don't know why he acts like he isn't" I continue to rant to the girls

"Well you and Taeyong sort of do have a past" Miyeon speaks out

"Well yeah, We went on a few dates. But in the end we stayed as friends only, nothing more"

"Jaehyun's just very possessive with you" Jiyoung laughs out

"Yeah well he's being completely unreasonable right now" I huff as I get back to packing

Jaehyun's POV

Me and Mark are making sure that we have all the necessities for this trip. If i'm being honest, I'm not too thrilled about this trip this year

"So is your friend still coming with us?" Mark asks
"As long as Taeyong's coming yes"
"So that's what this is about" He looks at me
"What?"
"He intimidates you"
"No he doesn't" I scoff

"Didn't him and Yujin have like a thing? And didn't you guys have a whole competition just for her to pick who she wanted?"
"So?" I ask

"Dude why do you hate the guy so much? He's literally done nothing to you"
"I don't want him pulling any fast moves on her. Especially since he's gotten to know a more vulnerable side of her that others don't" I admit
"Yujin's already with you, why can't you just take that and drop whatever hatred you have towards him?"

"I'm worried I'll lose her" I feel my throat tighten a bit

Mark stays quiet. I don't want to explain more to him so I walk out of the room and go to his balcony for some fresh air

Even though I hate to say it, Taeyong is a good guy. It scares me that one day he'll say or do something that'll convince Yujin that he's better than me. I'm scared one day she won't want me by her side anymore.

I love her too much to lose her...
