Chapter 45

Another day at school. As if that's what I needed.

Even though I feel shitty and hate life, I need to get through the day.

I'm in the library studying, as always. I feel a bit better knowing that I can at least distract myself for now.

I get a text from my group chat with Mina, Miyeon and Jiyoung

we need to talk about something

I have a feeling I already know what they want to talk about

I walk to the bathroom and see all 3 of them already waiting for me

"Hey" I say
"We should talk about what happened"

Awesome

"There's nothing more to discuss, he cheated on me" I look in the mirror and pretend to fix my hair

"You don't think there's more to it?" Miyeon asks
"What?"
"Like you don't think there's something off about that kiss they had?"
"What I do know is that Seola has a crush on him and he never set any sort of boundaries for her" I say

"I don't know, I feel like she was up to something" Jiyoung says
"Look I get Jaehyun is also your friend and I'm sorry that you guys got dragged into this, but I know what I saw" I turn to them

"Well at least answer me this, are you guys still together?" Mina asks

Oh my gosh...are we?

"See, she doesn't know either" Jiyoung says to Mina
"Either? What do you mean?" I glare at them
The 3 of them look at me, realizing the accidentally let that piece of information slip

"You guys talked to Jaehyun?"
"Not us, but Yuta did" Mina confesses
"Wow" I look at them in disbelief

"He also asked him what happened but he didn't want to say"
"Of course not, cause he cheated" I repeat myself
"Maybe he's just scared to tell and no one will believe him"
"I should remind you guys of who Jaehyun used to be known for before we started seeing each other. He slept around with girls regularly, did his fair share of infidelity and it never affected him. So how is it any different this time?" I go off on them a bit

"So I guess you guys are broken up then?" Miyeon asks
"I don't know" I sigh

Out of nowhere the bathroom door opens and we turn to see Seola walk in. She makes contact with us before she goes and locks herself in a stall. I feel like making a scene, but I shouldn't

"I think it's time I go home" I say
"Yujin you should talk to him" Jiyoung pleads
"Not interested" I say as I walk out

A/N: so i think it's safe to say i'm running out of motivation with this story😭therefore it will be coming to an end soon. i already have the ending planned out i just have to figure out how to get to that point🥲
