Chapter 7

- OBELIA'S ROSE, CHAPTER SEVEN, BY VIICERENE.

ME and Athanasia went down to the kitchen, planning to get some chocolate. Yes, we are chocolate addicts. "Do we have to go slowly?" I asked her. She just nodded while reaching for the chocolates on the shelf. 

Different types of chocolate balls were made neatly; Milk chocolate ones and Dark chocolate ones. 

GRAB

Oh, it's one of the maid uniforms. We're caught. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Me and Athanasia screamed. I was sweatdropping while Athy was still shocked by what just happened. Lily just looked us straight in the eyes before sweatdropping too.

"(Y/n) and Athy, your presence is requested," Lily said, looking at us unsurely.

(Y/n)'s POV

"It is an honor, to serve Princess (Y/n) and  Princess Athanasia." A lot of maids bowed. They had a lot of different hair colors and are quite pretty. But... what happened to Hannah and Ces? Oh god. Did daddy send them somewhere else? Like a desert with no food or water?

But most of all, what's this? Doesn't daddy think that the maids are too much? The guards here from what I know are only a few because daddy doesn't like people helping him. But that there is a big question. Why are there a lot of maids when there are only a few guards?

"Felix Robane, at your service. I will be the temporary guard from now on." A knight said. I looked down from the maids and saw a handsome guard. Oh, I know who this is. It is also written in the books. Chapter 1, Obelian Heroes. The knight of the crimson blood. Felix Robane!

He mostly fights violently when facing enemies and was noted by citizens that he was able to protect them while the emperor, my daddy, fought off dark magic. But then, Lily started speaking. "We... We are grateful for His Majesty's concern but how could we have Sir Felix as a guard?".

Felix only smiled at us before answering Lily's question. "His Majesty intends to cherish the Princesses and treat them well because he was not able to spend time with them." "Does he?" I asked Felix with a small smile. It was nice to know that my father now cares for me and my sister deeply.

He nodded and I shifted my attention to the maids. They were sweatdropping a lot as if thinking that the cold emperor could be able to love and cherish someone once again after his wife, the mother of his children died. 

"His Majesty is preparing an official guard for the Princess so I probably won't be here long, and it is an honor to serve the Stars of the Obelian Empire." He continued. Oh. The Obelian Empire is this luxurious enough that they even have enough time to create royal titles I've never heard of in the books!

And I'm thinking that there would be royal titles that would go like Sun of the Obelian Empire, Moon of the Obelian Empire, and much more! And probably the Sun and Moon would be the titles of the Emperor and Empress. While the stars mean heirs or people in line to the throne!

Athanasia was pouting. "I wanna see Hannah and Ces, I miss them," Athy said. Well, I miss them too, but the two are only Athanasia's trusted. They give us chocolates, pretty much anything we ask for politely... 

"If you wish to see them again, surely you will," Lily said to Athanasia. I just laid back on the couch and closed my eyes, listening to Athanasia and Lily's conversation. "When?" Athy asked Lily. "Umm, after 10 days perhaps." She said. Ha, seems she's quite unsure whether what answer she'd give to Athanasia.

Oh, I'm so sorry. This is quite funny. Athanasia is now on the floor rolling because she's upset, and all that hard work that she's been doing for the past five years has been thrown out of the window because the maids she's used to having been replaced.

 "Princess Athanasia, don't be upset~ You should have a small chat with His Majesty," Felix said to Athy. Lily and she were generating a scared aura. Looks like they don't trust daddy yet. "And, His Majesty also mentioned that he would like to spend time with the Princesses during dinner." Felix smiled.

Oh no. That was a plural form, and once again I'm involved. Anything with Felix is alright, but head-on with me and Athy? No, I cannot do it. I would need Felix with me and Athanasia to ensure that he won't be scary once again... Like the last time, we ate dinner with him. He swore that he would execute the chef that made our food if we wouldn't eat it.
