ATHANASIA nodded at the man standing in front of her,  the father of her future husband, and her escort. "Alpheus, I know that just a few days ago, Athanasia accepted your son's request in being her escort.

They were dancing a few days ago, and it seems like they've mastered a professional dance," The princess said sternly.

"Oh dear, thank you for telling me that, Princess. It seems that my son hasn't informed me of such a thing." Roger said with a small smile.

"Since you mention the young lord so much, I'm starting to gain interest in him much more. I am looking forward to seeing him once again at the ball, Duke Alpheus." Princess Athanasia said to the duke.

"Yes, a proper introduction will be held so you both can know each other better," the duke said to Princess Athanasia. He had a large smile on his face, while Athanasia had sparkles surrounding her as if she was saying that she was happy.

But the four people decided to go their separate ways. "It seems that we've missed out on seeing his son every time," Athanasia said.

"Seems like it," Felix answered. The younger princess knew that she met him unofficially, and those sweet moments they shared.

"Oh, it's the young warlock," Felix pointed out. "Lucas.!" The older princess had a smile on her face as the warlock looked back. "You seem to be quite busy lately," (Y/n) said with a small smile. The two could only stand in front of the magician.

"I barely see you nowadays. Your outfit has already been tailored and it's stored in my closet." She said.

The magician stayed silent. He could only stare at the two princesses. 'What, it's been so long since we've seen each other, and you're going to cast another spell on me again?' (Y/n) thought, internally crying. "Tsk." A single sound left his lips as he knelt in front of the second princess.

"One moment." He started tying the laces of her shoes. "You're not a little kid." The princess laughed internally this time. The thing was, she didn't know how to tie it at all. Maids don't let her do stuff on her own. Lucas gave a final tug before looking up at your head.

"And you're walking around with this stuck on you too?" He asked, taking it off. You suddenly felt lighter without the small leaf on your head. Was it conjured or something? It was impossible that such a leaf could make your body so heavy. It was a small one. So how could something so small do such a thing?

'Was it Lucas again?' The young princess thought. It was very common for the young warlock to put spells on her.

"I am busy but I will make time to pay a visit now and then. Since Your Highness missing my company dearly." Lucas said with a small smirk on her face. Oh, how she wished she could wipe it off him.

"Haha, always the Joker. It's always been the opposite." (Y/n) and Athanasia joked. For Felix, he felt the tension between the three. "Oh, Princesses, look at the time, it seems we should be heading back." Felix held a fake smile on his lips.

"Adrienne," The empress smiled at her sixth child, who was standing before her in one of the clothes her mother used to wear. It was her birthday, the fifth of July. "Happy seventh birthday. Would you like something?" The empress asked.

"I'd like another ____ ________, but it's fine if it's a ____ ____!" The last princess smiled. (Y/n) could only pat her youngest daughter's head. "Oh dear, let's see if that's possible. Introducing another one? That's hard, considering how strong your mana's are." The empress said, wondering how she could grant her wish.

"Good night, Princess." Lily smiled at the younger girl after tucking her into bed. She was hesitating in leaving the Princess in her room, and they were worried too. The Princess couldn't understand. She was fine, really, with her sister, Athanasia, and her father, Claude. Expressions like these are what they see.

Oh, for the princess, living without a mother wasn't that hard for her

Oh, for the princess, living without a mother wasn't that hard for her. With her only remaining family members, which include her brother figure Lucas. She waved goodbye to the maid as she left through the door.

The young princess turned to her side, not bothering that the monsters under the bed might touch and scare her.

All she could think about was her father and her fourteen-year-old sister. Her birthday was yet to come, only at the stroke of midnight will she be a fourteen-year-old. "Still, I had my hopes up this time," She frowned against the blanket.

In the end, her father didn't come to her sister's fourteenth birthday. But will he go to her fourteenth birthday? It feels strange every time.

The young princess thought to herself. It wasn't like what she and Athanasia thought. It wasn't because their dad didn't make it to Athanasia's birthday, nor was it because he might not make it to Y/n's birthday.

Her half-colored ruby eyes glowed. It makes her father feel like a normal person, without the pressure of being an emperor.

It's a good thing that daddy has a human side to him, it's a good thing for our survival. And the young girl stayed silent for a moment, turning around numerous times on her bed.

It wasn't like someone would barge into her room in the middle of the night. There would be no way that a maid would come into her room at the night, not without permission of Lily.

But in the morning, they do have an excuse to do something in the princess's room. It was to dress her up or to announce something.

"Really. What do you know?" A voice asked. She immediately sat up to talk to the unidentified stranger. "What? Why are you here so late?" (Y/n) asked... Lucas? "I'm a busy person, you know?" He said, rubbing his neck.
