Chapter 2

- OBELIA'S ROSE, CHAPTER TWO, BY VIICERENE.

"NANNY, NANNY, ATHY WANTS SOME CHOCOLATE." Athanasia said, covering her mouth in an attempt to use her cuteness to overwhelm the poor nanny, who was already blushing at the jaw-dropping sight in front of her.

The nanny was starstruck, in fact. So she had to give in to the beautiful chocolate-loving Athanasia.

"My sweet Princess Athanasia, you'd like some chocolate?" The maid asked. "Yeah! Athy loves chocolate. Athy wants a lot!" The cute princess said, only worsening her effect on the poor maid. "You like chocolate that much, your highness?"

"Yes! Athy likes it this much!" Athy cheered, scaling it with her thumb and index finger, then turning around to face her younger sister, (Y/n). "Right (Y/n)?" Athy confidently asked her sister, which the young child only responded with a small hum. "And we love Hannah too!" The two princesses smiled simultaneously.

The maid that was attending to the two of them smiled. "Oh my." she replied. Athanasia was making grabby hands already, but Ces, the second maid, caught the three of them.

"Hannah, what are you doing?" The said maid flinched. She straightened up to look presentable before acknowledging the other maid. 

"Ces!" She greeted. "Head maid Liliane told you. You can't give the Princesses chocolates as snacks whenever you please." Ces lectured Hannah, "..But it will only be one piece for the both of us..." One of the Princesses said.

Ces and Hannah immediately turned their heads to the two girls, and surprisingly, they saw the youngest Princess, (Y/n)! The little girl walked over to Ces before tugging onto her dress. "But Athy and Y/n want some cocolate." (Y/n) said, her blue jeweled eyes sparkling in the sun as she looked at Ces deeply.

"No can do, Your Highness." Ces said. It seemed she was able to fight back, unlike Hannah who was almost going to give in to the children. But in the end, the two Princesses won against Ces and Hannah, and the two gave them some chocolate. 

But it was not one piece of chocolate that the maids gave, the two gave the Princesses five pieces. Five for (Y/n), and five for Athy.

"You can't tell Lilian, okay?" The maid said, putting her index finger on her mouth, gesturing for Athy to keep quiet about it as she gave it to Athy. The image of Lilian scolding her for giving the young princesses chocolate appeared in her mind.

"No sweets for the children. What would Lady Diana think about a toothache?"

"Thank you nanny!" Athy said while giving Ces a small kiss on the cheek. "My! Ces you came here on purpose to steal my thunder!" Hannah said.  But a small tug on her dress caught her attention. 

It revealed a small (Y/n) who was going to thank her too. Hannah picked the girl up quickly, wrapping her arms around the young girl's butt securely so she doesn't fall. She looked at the Princess who she wrapped her arms around and the Princess gave her a small peck on the cheek.

"EEEEEEK!!!" The maids were now smiling in joy, which gave the Princesses time to run away from their hold as they were squealing with joy, now on their knees as they held their cheeks as if they were kissed by a god or goddess themself. 

Their feet hit the ground, earning a small clack fromt their shoes. Running through the outer balcony of the Ruby Palace, the two Princesses looked at each other fondly, looking at the five pieces of chocolate they hid in a small handkercheif.

"It's successful, we were able to get some chocolate from Ces and Hannah!" Athy smiled at her sister, cupping her own handkercheif and carressing it dearly like gold. "Yeah, we were able to get 10 pieces of chocolate. Let's go." The younger sibling smiled warmly as she looked at the (chocolate type) balls of chocolate. 

Time flows like water... Fluidly and quickly. But there are some days that flow slowly, and those days are the days that almost everyone do hate. 

Those days are called Misery Days. It's when a person experiences something that saddens them a lot. But I wonder, how did our daddy, Claude, handle those types of days? What about the days that he had to cope with Mother's death?

What happened?
