- OBELIA'S ROSE, CHAPTER SEVENTEEN,

THE SKY IS CLEAR. A walk was nice on that day, and that was what daddy was doing. He was carrying me and Athy. She was complaining that she could walk, while I still had to practice.

"Uh, dad. Athy can walk by herself." She said. Athanasia sure wanted to walk beside daddy. Every time she would ask that daddy reasons that it's faster. What an idiot, right?

And also, is there a reason why we need to walk faster? Hm? "That's right, Princess Athanasia. It's also not good for your sister to overwork her body yet." Felix said. Athy was sweatdropping heavily.

Well now, what Felix says makes sense anyways. I woke up after forty-eight days, and now I'm learning from scratch how to walk again. Quite stupid, am I right?

Plus my muscles were weakened, so I wasn't able to sit down on the chair. "It's a nice day today, we can talk back to the garden." Daddy said. Sure! It is a nice day.

"Yeah! It's a nice day! (Y/n) wants daddy to carry her." I said with a smile. I'm very attached to Daddy now! "Your Majesty, should I carry the princess?" Felix asked.

No, not this time Felix. I want daddy to carry me... This feeling is genuine now, not forced! "Take five steps back." He said. Felix complied, taking five steps back.

He had a frown on his face as I rested my chin on daddy's shoulder. Haaaaah. Oh, wait. I shouldn't lean my head too close to daddy as Athy said! Oh no. "Owwie..." I let out a wince of pain.

Daddy was alert. "What is it?" He asked me. My reply calmed him down. "I think daddy's hair got stuck on Y/n's hairpin," I said. I wore the same clothes Athy is using right now, but it's beige.

"Then stop fooling around and just take it out." Daddy said to me. Wow, too straightforward. "Should I help, Princess?" Felix asked me. He had flowers around his head.

"Five steps." Daddy said with another neutral face. When will this person give emotion, what, when I'm grown up with children of my own?

Tell me. "Get it out before the walk is over." He said, more like threatened. I quickly reached up to my hairpin that was holding my hair up and sighed. "Done!"

I looked over at the pin and saw daddy's hair. Huh? I quickly placed it away from me and started shaking daddy's hair off.

Who knows what he would do if a single baby hair or whatever randomly disappears because of another person? Daddy then stopped for a moment.

"You messed up my hair, huh?" He asked. Oh, I'm doomed.

"Hmmm, no? Daddy, you're still as pretty and sc- nice as ever." I said nervously, patting his neck. Athy looked like she was going to laugh at me, she was just trying to hide it.

He crouched down onto the grass and placed me down. My hair was a mess. "Hmmm?" I hummed. I placed my hand onto his. "Not that." He replied to me. What do you need?

Daddy then snatched my hairpin and fixed it back onto my hair.

He was focusing, and he didn't have a hard time putting it on before backing away.

"Now you're bearable." He said, causing imaginary sparkles to float around my head. He grabbed my hands soon enough. He then stood and turned me around. "Don't run around willy-nilly, walk properly." He referred to me, Athy was still trying to stifle her laughs.

Athy and I sweatdropped when daddy started walking.

Maids were bowing to me and Athy. Sure I came back from the brink of death, like mom, but this is a little bit too much for me and Athy.
