Chapter 19

- OBELIA'S ROSE, CHAPTER NINETEEN, BY VIICERENE

A FEW NIGHTS AGO, ATHY TOLD ME A TRAGIC STORY. I have just woken up, so some parts of the story may not be clear...

As I hope. I'm here, sitting on the sofa as I try to remember. She had jeweled eyes, as Athy described, and had brown hair.

Meaning that the young maiden she was talking about was the girl we talked about, Jennette.

She called her the Protagonist of an imaginary story that she wrote in her head. Perhaps, maybe a reference? I don't know, it's a mystery.

And she was created by the woman I and Athy saw in our first days living in the palace of daddy. I thought she was his woman... And maybe a little prostitute... 

But to be specific, she actually did give birth to Jennette. But the process used wasn't by chance, it was manmade.

Lady 'P' was originally daddy's fiance... It's making me think that I'm lucky to be born to Lady Diana and Daddy.

And to add about Lady P, she was greedy and selfish. She wanted to date the Crown Prince at the time, which was Anastacius.

Meaning that she was unsatisfied with daddy, who wasn't the first-in-line to the throne because Anastacius was born first. 

And so, she decided to seduce Uncle Anastacius, who was official. Unlike me and Athy who are the unofficial Crown Princesses of the Obelian Empire.

And so, foolish Uncle Anastacius had always regarded daddy as an annoyance.

And therefore, he welcomed Lady P with open arms, while daddy had an unhappy childhood with no one to help him.

The name Claude itself means 'The one who limps,' so what more is there to say? He didn't even get spotlighted and was often in the shadows, watching grandfather and Uncle Anastacius shake hands with some nobles.

And according to Athanasia, Lady P promised to be by daddy's side every step of the way.

That promise was certainly crushed when daddy caught Lady P and Uncle Anastacius finishing up with their little make-out session.

Anastacius pulled him down onto the bed, with himself and Lady P naked, and this is when Claude finally gave up on all his blood ties once and for all.

Later, Uncle Anastacius became the Emperor of the Obelian Empire. Killed Grandma...

Who was she again? I don't know. And even tried killing daddy with black magic. That's why daddy decided to ban black magic in the whole Obelian Empire.

However, Daddy killed Uncle Anastacius, which caused Lady P to flee the palace.

Lady P has no rights anymore to get into the castle if shes secretly alive, as her spouse is currently dead, six foot undergound.

But before his death, Uncle Anastacius did a black magic experiment with Lady P, and she conceived a child born with black magic, a female who we now know as Lady Jenette Margarita.

It was because Uncle Anastacius was always wary of Daddy, who was more qualified to take the throne, had more powerful and overwhelming mana than him, the emperor. 

Therefore, he wanted to conceive a child that could surpass Claude. And as for Lady P...

She assumed the child she was carrying could bring her to higher grounds, which is obviously not working.

And for goodness' sake, she died in childbirth, and an ordinary Jennette was born, ordinary but for her Cerulean Blue Jeweled eyes.

And this is the story of Lady Jennette Margarita's birth. The thoughts that were running through my mind just now are sickening.
