OBELIA'S ROSE, CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO, BY VIICERENE.

CLAUDE slept peacefully as his two daughters stared at him. "Athy~ Daddy is sleeping here again!"(Y/n) said, sitting down on the carpet as they wait for their father to awaken.

'Why does he sleep on this stiff couch all the time?' Y/n thought to herself, thinking about how tired he looked these days.

He had seemed burnt out.

"Daddy," Athanasia called out, both reaching into their pockets. 'Huh?' They thought, feeling a thorny and soft material on their skins.

But feeling eager to know what it was, they brought it out of their pockets. Though to their surprise, the twins had red and white roses in their pockets. "Oh, unexpected." The princess held the flowers in her hands, cupping them safely.

The young princess then glanced over to her father, a lightbulb appearing on top of her head. And with a smile, She held the best rose in her hands and placed it onto Claude's right ear.

'It's that noble boy, Flower!' She thought, admiring the beauty of her baby faced father. 'A flower more beautiful than any other flower!' Y/n thought with a smile.

'Are you seeing this, Young Lord Flower of the Marquess House Irain? Behold the lethally poisonous beauty that is my father, Claude de Alger Obelia!' Y/n squealed in pride. The two princesses were laughing in happiness. But little did they know, their father was going to grab their arms in defense.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" They screamed in horror as their flowers fell to the ground. The look on Claude's face was scary;

His jeweled eyes glowing, glaring at them, and holding their wrists so tight that it might've left a bruise. "Daddy, I just thought the flower looked nice, if you wear one, you'll be like that boy, flower..." Athanasia trailed off.

'It's been a while... Since I felt like I was going to die.' Y/n thought. "I mean... A flower boy! No! I mean..." Athanasia stopped as Claude's glare softened at the sight of them.

"Athanasia." Claude whispered, sitting up from the couch and releasing his tight hold on their wrists. "Daddy! We just thought that these flowers would look good on you!" They smiled.

The expression on his face was hideous. "It was you both." He mumbled. Was he not fully awake? Claude let a puff of air out.

He stayed silent as he rubbed his eyes, looking tired. "Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked. Athanasia's eyes were in disbelief.

'Because our baby-faced Claude looks so cute. Who knew that Athanasia saw this... But much more violent.' The current Athanasia thought to herself, remnicing what she saw in the book called Lovely Princess.

Oh my god. "Because you look handsome even when you've woken up, Daddy." Athanasia smiled at Claude, with him furrowing his brows.

"Don't be silly, Athanasia." Claude said. Felix then opened the door slightly, checking to see what His Majesty and Their Highnesses were doing.

"Felix. Ask the maids to make tea." Claude said, turning his head to the knight. "Yes, Your Majesty..." Felix stopped.

The feminine look on Claude, and the White Rose of York. "What's the matter?" Claude asked, confused. Athanasia zipped her mouth up and hit her sister with her elbow, motioning her to stay quiet.

"The flower," Felix said, Y/n shook her head, saying not to continue what he was going to say. "...s are quite enchanting." Felix said. The smile on Athanasia and Y/n's face grew more, but Claude looked at them.

"They smell good too daddy!" The sentence echoed in Y/n's ears. The familiarity. As if she heard it before.

"Daddy," Jennette said. "These flowers look good on you." She smiled at him, as the first and second Princess could only smile as they looked at their little moment. Claude looked at the flowers.

It was a a Bell Flower. Her favorite flower. "Oh, it's Bell Flower season already?" He asked, taking one of the flowers and placing it above his ear. Jennette nodded in excitement.

"They have no smell, but these smell good!" Jennette said, giving Lapilea flowers to him as he smelled them. "Certainly."

Jennette only had a neutral type of flower gardens. Full of White Peace Lilies, ponds, and others. "I'm getting pretty fucking tired..." Y/n looked down on the red carpet they stood on.

Athanasia looked at her, smiling. "Only a certain flower captivated mother..." She said, comforting her sister as they hugged. "The Rose of Obelia." Athanasia comforted.

"Claude," Diana's sweet voice echoed through his ears. "What flower is this?" She asked him, pointing to the flower that was staying afloat onto a Lily Pad.

She was mesmerized by such a beautiful flower. It seemed so majestic and elegant, she certainly couldn't take her eyes off it. Claude, looking bored, saw the flower and wasn't surprised.

"The Flower. That's what my grandmother called it. But to be specific, it's Obelia's Rose, and only we have access to it." Claude explained, looking at the knights that were digging up some dirt.

"Well it seems that 'The Flower' has mesmerized me." Diana smiled, looking at the warm water that was reflecting the sun. The flow was gentle, no harsh or big waves that could potentially drift them away.

Claude's eyes then drifted off to the woman he loved, Diana. With her pregnant with two children, and currently has no complications, was a happy thing for him. He now has a happy family.

"Claude? Staring is rude, you know." Diana said, catching his attention as she could feel his eyes burning into her. Claude's glare is much more painful than stomach cramps, so it's an exercise.
