I had been stuck in this hospital for the last 40 minutes waiting for the results of my cancer. They had admitted me I don't know what for but they did. Everyone was sitting around my bed waiting alongside me. Megan sat with me on my bed and cuddled me. I didn't have to tell her what I needed she just knew. I might have looked like I was fine on the outside but on the inside I was dying. My heart had been broken so many times that it was turning to stone. "You will be fine Melissa, You have a village that is willing to do anything for you especially Casey" She whispered that last part. My eyes finding his. It would have been so much easier if he liked me. With Casey I knew everything would be fine.

The doctor walked in with a smile on her face. "Your cancer is not back" She stopped and smiled one more time before continuing. "You had a heat stroke that is why you got a bleeding nose" That doesn't explain the throwing up. "But you are also pregnant" I froze once those words left her mouth. "That's impossible" I whispered. The doctor came close to me so she could hear. "Why?" Lee asked from next to me. "My last doctor said that I would never be able to conceive a child that's why me and Blake never used a condom it wasn't like I could get pregnant" I was panicking. "I don't know why he would have said that maybe if you had cervical cancer but you don't, there are some dangers but we can monitor you, It's dangerous yes but not impossible" I looked around maybe this was just a dream.

"I'm gonna be a grandmother" My mum jumped up from her seat in horror. "Melissa I am not that old" At least she was happyish and not angry at the fact that I am 17 and pregnant. "We will have to monitor you when you get closer to full term but other than that you can leave but you will have to take these for your heatstroke and will need to book an ultrasound for your baby" This has to be a dream this couldn't be real.

"Lissa are you okay?" Lee asked from next to me. I didn't know the answer, Was I okay? Would I be okay? "She's in shock imagine if someone who was supposed to care for you tells you that you couldn't have kids especially after everything he did to her" I forgot that it would be on my record. He was the reason why I wanted female doctors only. "What did he do?" My mother asked and she looked at me not knowing if she should say or not. It was something that I never talked about. It was something that nobody knew not even Martin and he lived in the same room that I did. "It's not my story to tell sorry I thought that you guys already knew" I smiled at her, The truth would have to come out sooner or later right. "He raped me" was all I said and I looked over at Martin. "WHAT" Lee yelled. "He was also injecting medication that would impair me the only reason someone found out was because another doctor thought something was wrong but I wouldn't tell him so he constantly kept checking on me. My doctor was completely unaware of this and the other doctor caught him in the act with his partner who was a nurse" I looked at the ground when I finished talking.

"Can we charge him?" Lee asked the doctor. "I already did, he got his medical license taken off him and got sent to jail for 5 years, Others came forward and gave proof now he's been served with a life sentence" I looked at the floor once again. "How did you know" Lee asked the doctor. "It's in my file I'm only allowed female doctors and it states why. So when he told me that I could never have kids he was lying?" I needed to change the subject. I needed to talk about anything else. "Yes, now is the father in this room?" She asked. "No he would have left for college by now with his fiancé" Did he have to know? The only people who knew we slept together were everyone in this room and Blake's mother. Okay word would get back to him that I was pregnant. I looked around. "I don't want to tell him but I know word would get to him so I'm obliged to tell him right?" I looked around the room hoping for answers. So I called him and put him on speaker.

"What do you want Melissa I thought you wanted nothing to do with me?" Blake answered I could tell he was pissed off and my words were getting to him. Instead of beating around the bush I decided to just go out and say it. "I'm pregnant" He scoffed. "Yeah right" Rolling my eyes I repeated it. "Well even if you are how are you sure it's mine I don't know how many people you've slept with it could be Lee's for all we know" Was he seriously implying that I slept with my brother. "You know Lissa is the only one who is allowed to call me Lee Blake" Lee commented not even phased by his accusation. "Bye has a good life Melissa and I want nothing to do with that baby" It Good thing my phone automatically recorded conversations I had proof to back me up when I said I told him and when he said he wanted nothing to do with him. I could take his custody rights from him he clearly stated it.

But was I ready to do this by myself. "You not on your own were all here for you," Casey said before kissing my forehead.
