Lime warning! If this can even be considered that. I have absolutely no idea. It's my first time writing something like this.
I found the place faster than I expected. That guy was right, it really was hard to miss.
Standing before the giant oak tree, I let out a sigh.
I really like this place. So quiet and peaceful.
"You just thought you liked how quiet and peaceful this place was, didn't you?"
My spear immediately appeared in my hand the moment I heard the voice. I span around ready to attack.
How could anybody get so close without me noticing?
However, when I turned around, I was faced with a pair of familiar blue eyes.
"Venti?"
"Oh, so you remember me! Great! But, would you mind?" He pushes away the tip of my spear which was against his neck.
"Hah." I let out a sigh, lowering my spear.
Before I could do anything else, I was enveloped in a hug, the scent of cecilias filling my nose, along with the smell of...alcohol.
"Mine!" He giggles, hugging me tighter.
"Venti, you're drunk. Let go." I try to pry him off of me, only to be hugged even tighter.
"No! You're mine! I'm not letting go!"
"What...? Venti, just let go and let's-"
"It's unfair you know."
As he is saying this, he pushes me down till I'm sitting on the ground, leaning against the tree trunk.
"Venti, what-"
"It's unfair! Even that blockhead found a mate already, and here I am, chasing you around in secret!"
"What are you talking about? Venti, just what-"
"I don't want to admit it, but in some aspects, I'm really similar to that blockhead. We are both extremely possessive."
"Stop! Venti, stop it!"
I try throwing him off me, but to my surprise, he doesn't even budge. Instead, the next moment I found myself turned around, my back facing him.
"Sadly, I'm not as patient as he is."
I felt my collar loosening before it was pulled down completely, leaving my neck completely exposed. I could feel his warm breath on the back of my neck, the smell of cecilias and alcohol once again filling my nose.
"Remember, you are mine." He whispered.
I flinched as I felt him bite the back of my neck hard enough to draw blood. At first, it hurt, but then a warm feeling spread through my body, soothing the pain away.
"Ven-ti..."
That was all I could muster as I started losing my consciousness. Before I passed out, I still heard his voice.
"Mine."
