Adelle was so surprised to feel wet grass under her feet instead of hard and cold asphalt. "Oof." she said as she fell into the mud puddle with a huge PLOP.
"Oh sh-" Adelle stopped when she realized that she wasn't alone. Kids stared at her with awe, they were all wearing orange camp shirts, and sitting around a campfire just like she saw in her memory. "Um... Hi?" she said, wiping mud off her face. "Well, that is surprising." she heard a deep but gentle voice say. She turned around to see... a stallion with upper body of a human. A centaur...! "Um... excuse me, I'm sorry if I'm being rude, but are you a centaur...?" she asked. The centaur stared at her strangely. "Yes, yes I am, my name is Chiron." he said. Adelle's eyes widened. "Chiron? The centaur who trained heroes...?" She whispered, amazed. "Yes, yes I am, and... who are you...?" Chiron asked. "Oh, my name is Adelle, Adelle Snow. " She replied. Chiron nodded and held out an arm for her. "Thanks." Adelle said and grabbed his arm, helping herself up. "Well, Adelle. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, let me tell you about something." he said.
