"Are you sure nothing happened last night?" Sabine asked, eyebrows raised in a playful teasing way. "Nothing happened. Seriously, Sabine!!" Adelle said, she hoped she wasn't blushing hard. Mark didn't say anything. He just walked quietly ahead of them. Clearly listening, but not interfering. Sabine shrugged. "If you say so... but I bet something very romantic happened when I was asleep." she muttered aloud clearly trying to get to Adelle's nerves. "Seriously, nothing happened Sabine!" Adelle said, her voice a octave higher. Sabine just shrugged with a smirk.
"Hey Look!!" Mark said suddenly, making both Sabine and Adelle jump. He ran across the bank of the sewer to the walls which was stained with rust. Adelle and Sabine quickly followed him. "Is that ichor?" he asked, pointing at a drop of gold. "Yeah... I think so.." Sabine answered and touched the liquid lightly. "If it is then it leads up there." Adelle said, pointing at a ladder up a few feet away from them.
