"I.. don't know, but I think we should rest." Adelle said. "Sabine and Mark, you guys sleep first, I'll keep watch for an hour." she said. "No." Mark said. "I'm the one has the most energy left. I should keep watch." he said. Adelle opened her mouth to argue but closed it. Mark actually made sense for once. He was a son of Poseidon, and he was the most untried one of the three of them. "Okay." Adelle said and Mark seemed a little surprised at Adelle's answer.
Adelle lied beside Sabine who fell asleep as soon as her head touched the ground. Adelle, however, couldn't sleep. Thoughts of that sea serpent kept bubbling up to her head. And the face of Bianca... And her mother... how could have she forgotten? Her mother was dead and her house, her home, destroyed. She squeezed her eyes shut, trying to fall asleep. And she did... which wasn't so good because she was plunged straight to Bianca's memory again.
