The two demigods opened their eyes to find they were in a house. Adelle let out a soft gasp as she realized that it was her old house. The house where she had lived with her mother before... "Where are we..?" Mark asked, coming up beside Adelle. "My home... At least... it was my home..." she whispered and looked at the floor. Sure enough, there was some dried scraps of blood in the floor. Adelle let out a quiet sob. Mark placed a arm around her, hugging her as Adelle cried. Maybe Mark cried a little too. Adelle didn't know.
After she had calmed down. She started to look around her old house. Of course, her mother's body was gone, but there was silhouette of her mother drawn on the floor with white paint. So the police was investigating on this. "We better be careful. A lot of time has passed since.. since the 'incident' but the police might still be investigating." she told Mark. "Alright. We'll be careful." Mark replied.
