As he went to toss some pieces of clothing aside, Elijah asked, "Kol, are you quite done?"

After dropping the body he was drinking from, Kol replied, "Oh, bother, Elijah, is all this really necessary?"

Elijah told him, "Brother, the road is a major thoroughfare. If the bodies are found, word of our presence will spread to Mikael."

Rebekah said to them, "We have run through autumn and winter, through sleet and snow. Are we cursed to forever live in fear of our father?"

Finn replied, "I should say yes, sadly."

While Annabelle simply sighed to herself and started to twiddle her thumbs together, Elijah said to him, "Finn, please."

With a sigh, Kol said, "Will all of you calm down already? Your actions are upsetting Annabelle."

While the rest of them turned their attention over towards Annabelle, who had yet to speak since the moment she had found the remains of her husband and two children, Elijah turned to Klaus and said to him, "Niklaus."

Rebekah asked Elijah, "Do we have any idea where we are running to next?"

After making his way over towards Annabelle and wrapping arm around her, Kol replied, "Why not just do what we've all thought of doing? Split up."

Klaus told him, "We swore a vow."

Kol retorted, "Your vows haunt Annabelle and me more than Father himself. At least he can't chase us all. I say we take our chances."

With a tilt of his head, Finn said, "Perhaps Kol is right."

With a wave of his hand, Kol replied, "Thank you, Finn. Yeah, I've always said eldest is the most intelligent."

With a wave of his hand, Finn said to him, "Stop talking. I take no joy in our assent but I do wish to sleep in a bed. To bathe in a bath, to feed of proper food. If we divide—"

Elijah said to him, "No, brother. Niklaus is right. We made a vow. Family above all." After he turned to look back at Klaus, Elijah said, "Always. Forever."

While Klaus only smiled in response, Kol turned to Annabelle and started to quietly ask if she were okay, to which Annabelle would only respond with a simple nod of her head.

For the first time in months, the citizens of New Orleans had to listen to the sound of blood curdling screams as Annabelle tore into the throats of whoever she saw, while the anger she felt deep into her chest continued to grow the more she thought over what Davina Claire had told her shortly before Annabelle had snapped Damon Salvatore's neck and left Bonnie Bennett to die as a result of what Kai Parker had done to her.
