Not long after Cami took the lid off of one of the boxes, Lucien said as he started to make his way into the room, "I took the liberty of removing your handcuffs. Unless you're the type that likes to be restrained." After finally stopping in front of her, Lucien said with a glass held out in front of him, "Please. Take it. Consider it an apology for the rough start to our day. I see no reason we cannot begin anew."

Cami told him, "I only drink with friends, and unless this isn't abundantly clear, I don't like you."

With a shrug of his shoulders, Lucien said as he went to drink from the glass himself, "Fair enough." After he put the now empty glass down on the counter, he said with a finger pointed at her, "Later on, I hope you'll remember this all could've gone so much easier."

Then he turned his head and said, "Detective Kinney, come on in and start cutting up the mirepoix."

After Lucien turned his head to look back at Cami, she asked him, "You compelled him?"

Lucien replied, "Well, yes, I had a hand in it, but surprisingly enough, an old friend of mine saw to it that she would help me as well." When Cami's eyebrows only furrowed in response, Lucien said, "Annabelle, dear, you can come on out now."

As soon as Annabelle suddenly appeared in thin air with Dorothy Sullivan standing right beside her, Cami's eyes widened upon seeing the very Original she'd been worrying about for months when Klaus had revealed to her that Annabelle hadn't come back to the city to offer Kol a goodbye for his passing.

Just as she went to ask Annabelle a question, she suddenly stopped when Detective Kinney asked while he entered the room, "What the hell is going on?"

As he started to walk away from Cami, Lucien replied, "Why don't you focus on the cutting. We don't want you to lose any fingers while we talk." Then he turned to Cami and asked her, "Did you know that Will's mother's side is full of chefs? He's going to make us his grandmother's grillades and grits. I took the liberty of texting your nosy friend Vincent on your behalf. After leaving police care, without incident, he believes you have a date with The Real Housewives at home in your P.J.'s."

Cami asked him, "The hell kinda point are you trying to make?"

Instead of responding to her question, Lucien said to Detective Kinney, "Detective, do me a favor. Throw your blade at her pretty face."

Not long after Detective Kinney did as he said, Cami let out a gasp when she saw the blade going towards her just before Lucien appeared just in front of her with the blade now in hand.

After Cami let out yet another gasp, Lucien said to her, "Now that I have your attention, my point is simple. I'm looking for a particular Dark Object. A small bronze medallion with runic markings. Since you're on vervain, I'm going to ask nicely that you help me find it. Should you refuse, the parlor tricks will get increasingly less fun and dearest Annabelle might feel compelled to go ahead and kill your friend Detective Kinney." After going back over towards the detective, Lucien said with a nod of his head, "Carry on."
