Chapter 3: Foolstown Arcade On A Friday Night, Part 2: A Strange-Looking Game In Another Room

-6PM…

Kendall, Caroline and Roger all arrived outside of The Foolstown Arcade.

"Here we are!" Caroline said, excited. "Y'all ready to win some shit?!"

"I suppose so." Kendall said.

"Never been here before." Roger said. "So keep your excitement level down, Caroline. This is our first time after all."

"And that's what being excited should be about!" Caroline said.

Roger sighed.

"You're something…" He said, "Whatever… Let's head inside."

Kendall's POV: When we went inside the arcade, it was massive! Games everywhere! Never really thought that an arcade could be this massive!

"Woah!" Roger said, surprisingly as he, Kendall and Caroline all looked at the arcade. "How many games are there?!"

"Don't know!" Caroline replied. "Shit, this whole thing is like a wonderland!"

Kendall was speechless. They had never even seen an arcade like this one before.

"So, what should we play first?" Caroline asked. "We have 20 dollars to share."

"I think we should follow Kendall for this one." Roger replied. "After all, their cousin gave us the money."

"I really can't tell…" Kendall said. "...What to play… Let's just, see what's there…"

After 2 minutes of walking around, Kendall went over to a fighting game.

"Who's playing on this one?" They asked Caroline and Roger. "It's 2 players, and I'm not really good at fighting games."

"Me and Roger will play!" Caroline replied.

"I guess I'll accept the offer." Roger said.

"Ha! I won't go easy on you, Roger!"

Roger smiled.

"We'll see about that." He said to Caroline.

Kendall watches as Caroline and Roger get ready to face each other in the fighting game.

"What Caroline doesn't know is that Roger is really good at fighting games," They said, "Heh heh… I can't wait to see the look on Caroline's face all of a sudden…"

Watching their friends play the game, Caroline was struggling.

"Wh-What the hell?!" Caroline shouted in surprise. "How are you beating me with that combo?! I can't do shit!"

Roger was silent. He won the first round.

"Ugh, doesn't matter! Probably luck!" Caroline said.

"Are you sure it's luck?" Roger wonders.

The second round began and Roger continued to use his usual combo on Caroline. He won again.

"Damn it!" Caroline shouted. "Both of our characters were mid!"

"Mid?" Kendall asked.

"We both follow a tier list, and the two characters we play as are like B tier or something like that." Roger replied. "Maybe my chosen character was a little higher than her character."
